And if the heavens concede with my pleading, and give me that another chance, I would still wake up and take the same pathway—the path that would lead me to where you are. We would meet and find each other for the second time around. As if it was inevitable, I would still fall for you like for the first time. Listen to all your stories like I never heard of them before. Remember every little thing about you; from the way your eyes soften every time you genuinely laugh, to the way you speak with so much depth like you had lived countless lives and had seen how life ends. You were like an old soul, a classical literature—a majestic work of art I would die for just to behold. You're the fire I tried to hold, the rhythm I tried to dance, I followed every pattern, yet I still got lost in your melody and got burnt by your flames to ashes. Perhaps everything would still end the same way it did. Regardless of how many times I rewrite our story. After all, we were destined to fall apart.
