I am a cat—with perky ears, fluffy cheeks, and sharp teeths!
Humans pet me when they see me on the streets.
Some call, "pspsps!" and some call, "swswsw!"
Yet neither call do I respond, for I am mighty and dignified!
I lick my paws and stretch my back.
On a daily basis, I watch humans go on their day.
Some wear dull shirts, and some wear dazzling socks!
When the sun starts rising up, they seem to be always in rush—
concerned about their ticking clocks.
But when it came to dawn, they all seemed like dead batteries!I am a cat—everyday is a trip day. I get to go on exhilarating
adventures without spending a single penny.
If asked, I know a spot in every place.
Like the neighbors roof, the old man's lap,
on top of a flower pot, or the next meat shop.
These days, you can see me on windows; or maybe in your window!
The apartment across the street has interesting window shows—oh!
Forgive my impudence! I meant to say,
I get to see different lives of humans on every window.
There was a college-looking-guy who seemed to really suck at cooking.
Scratch that! I can still smell the burning chicken!
On the other window is a single father who's raising a snotty brat.
Then the old man who seems to always wait for his children to pay him a visit.
There's also a girl who I think is working for the underworld.
The lack of color other than black tells so!I am a cat—the rumored guy who lives nine lives!
Among everyone, there's a certain window that I like to visit the most.
This woman gave me treats in return
for some head pats and tummy scratch.
She may seem nice—however,
she could get real crazy in front of her
square screen while tapping furiously.I am a cat—the dude that enchants anyone.
And not just a cat; for I am a hunter, a seeker
in hide and seek, a fast runner, and someone
who witness the lives of humans across the street.
