"Today... I finally go to a public school." Katherine smiles as she finishes packing. 'Hopefully they're nice people....'
A evil grin flashes in front of Katherine. Katherine closes her eyes and shakes her head.
'No... We broke up. I'm free from him....' Katherine frowns.
"Katherine! Your ride is here! Are you ready?!" Katherine's mom shouts.
"Yes! Coming!" Katherine shouts as she grabs her bags.

Katherine runs down the stairs with her bags.
"If anything happens, just call me okay?" Katherine mom says.
"I will. Love you!" Katherine rushes out of the house.
"Love you too!" Katherine's mom smiles.
*Click!*
The door closes. Katherine's mother sighs.
'I hope I made the right decision....' Katherine's mom frowns.
Katherine gets in the taxi. The taxi begins to drive off. Katherine looks out the car window as she smiles. The driver glances at Katherine and notices the excitement from her smile.
"New Texas High. Have you recently moved here?" the driver asks.
"No. I've been here my whole life." Katherine responds.
"Really? Then why are you just going to school now, young lady?" the driver questions.
"I was homeschooled most of the time." Katherine says.
"I see. Well, I'm sure you'll make many friends." the driver smiles.
