Kinabukasan ay ibang Lei ang humarap sa mga boss ng Punta Gallarte na siyang ikinagulat niZach at ng iba pang key personnel nasa conference room.   She was more gorgeous in her feminine textured pencil cut black and gray dress.  Four inches above the knee ang cut at may slit sa bandang kaliwa na kusang bumubuka kapag naglalakad at umuupo ito.   Four inches din ang black ladies' shoes na suot nito na may design na ukab sa dulo dahilan upang lumitaw ang mga kuko na maingat na pinahiran ng red nail polish.   Bahagya ring makapal ang make-up nito ngayon. Ano'ng panama ng mga local celebrities sa aura nito ngayon?  Pakiramdam niya ay nasa harap nila ngayon ang isa sa  may pinakamagandang mukha sa showbiz, si Bea Alonzo. 

Hindi mapakali sa kinauupuan si Zach.  Inaalipin siya ngayon ng matinding pananabik sa dalaga.  Did she really intend to look more beautiful today?  Did she know that he was thinking of her every night? That he wanted every detail of her delectable body at this very moment?

 Her brown eyes were filled with self-confidence.  A kind of confidence that only few women were able  to possess.  A kind of confidence that completed   her package as beauty and brain. And the way she looked at the people inside the room was absolutely enthralling.  Was she using her magnetic appeal to influence their thoughts before she spoke?  Or was she aware that her charm could make all men crazy for her?

And yes, she was damn smart. Suddenly, he became more interested to know what else this cunning woman could offer.

                She was now standing on the end of the long conference table while he sat on the other end.    After a usual greeting and a short smile, she proceeded to her presentation.  "I know that everybody here was informed about  Don Fernan Custodio's imitation of our latest marketing strategy causing him to go beyond business ethics.  Now, I came up with an idea that will make that old man  run for his money," she paused for a while as if sensing the emotions of the people who are obviously impatient to hear her next words.   Finally, she continued, "We are going to  give all of our guests a chance to own a horse in the ranch  through accumulated points every time they  visit the resort .  The  requirement is very easy. All they have to do is visit Punta Gallarte as frequently as they could together with their families and friends and once they reached the required number of  points ,they will be given a chance to join the  raffle draw every three months in which the major prize will be an expensive  horse in Santana ranch."

                "Miss Alvez, I would not allow any horse in the ranch to be given away as a prize," sa wakas ay nakapagsalita rin siya pagkatapos ng matagal na pagtunganga sa kagandahang nasa harap niya. "especially Highlander..."

                "And so do I with Pandora..." at last, she looked at him. She hadn't looked at him since she entered the conference room.     But there was no gleam in her eyes.  All he could see was hurt and anger.  And he wondered on what could be the cause of such  emotions.  But he knew that this woman would not tell.   She would not reveal.  She would not open up.

"We can buy  new horses for our prizes but we will make our guests believe that they  come from the ranch," she continued, eyes were still on him.  Ngayon ay hindi lang sulyap ang ibinibigay sa kanya kundi matalim na titig.  Gone are those beautiful and tantalizing eyes.  What he could see were eyes that  command him to believe and eventually accept what her brain can produce. "Who would not like the idea of having a horse formerly owned by one of the richest men in the country, Don Zacharias Santana?" a convincing smile flashed  on her smooth face.
