James's POV

I glared at miss Teresa for telling Kayla where we were going. I didn't want to keep the truth from her, but she's only five, and her reaction proved my concern.

Soon we pulled up at the gates of some building and I exited the car.

My phone rang and I looked at the caller ID and saw that it was Henry. I answered and he said, "hey Jay, so how you doing? How about that movie we said we were going to see?"

I sighed and replied, "I'm sorry but I can't do it."

As if he sensed something was wrong, "what's wrong?" He asked.

"The McMillan's reported our current habitation to the social security and now we're," I let out a deep sigh, "at an orphanage."

"What the? Wait, Queen's family?"

"Yeah, and now I won't be able to see you as we used to."

"No, you wait, I'll talk to my parents, we're coming to get you."

"Thanks, but I don't think that's possible. Okay bye, I'll see you whenever."

"Bye."

I put my phone in my pocket, "Mari-" I turned to the car to get her but she wasn't there.

"Marilyn? Marilyn! Miss Teresa, where's my sister?" I turned to miss Teresa.

She and the officers also noticed it and started looking for her, "Is this what you call protecting us? Where's my sister? Marilyn!"

"James, calm down, I promise you that we'll find her."

"Stop promising me that, is this what you took us out of our home for? We were there for a year plus and this never happened!"

I quickly pulled out my phone and dialed Henry's number, "come on pick the phone!" I yelled getting frustrated while walking down the street.

I'd never even been here, where would I start looking for her?

Henry finally picked up the phone, "Hen, there's a problem. We came out the car and after I spoke to you, Marilyn was no where to be seen."

"Wait what? Do you mean she's missing?"

"Yes! In spite of three police officers she's gone. I don't know what to do. I can't lose her, please Henry ask your parents to help, I can't lose her," at that moment I was already crying.

"Don't be disheartened, trust God, we'll find her, I promise. Where are you?"

I told him our street before continuing with my search. God please help me out, please bring my sister back to me, please!

I continued searching for Marilyn along with the police officers and who knew for how long.

God, please! Bring her back to me!

I looked at my phone and sighed, it was already 3 pm and I don't know where my five year old sister is.

Henry's POV

After James called, I was walking out of my room when I received another call. But this was from an unknown number.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Uh, Henry, this is Sarah."

"How did you get my number?"

"We were assigned for the same project last month, I wanted to talk to James, can you please send me his number."

"Why? What for? So you can rejoice in his demise?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Why don't you ask your Queen? She's your best friend after all. You know, I can't believe you, Sarah. He really thought you were a nice person you know?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Since you're acting all innocent, I'll take the liberty of telling you what our dearest Queen, your best friend did. Well, her parents reported James and his sister to social services and now they are on their way to an orphanage."

"Wait what?"

"Oh, and that's not all, all because of this tattling, Marilyn's gone missing."

"Wait what? Henry I'm so sorry, I didn't know any of this."

"You know what? Forget it, I think it's best you stay away from us and we away from you, you've already done enough damage to James."

I cut the call and made my way to the living room.

"Mom, dad, there's a problem."

"What's wrong?" My mom said sitting up.

"James and Marilyn have been taken to an orphanage and Marilyn went missing."

"What, where are they?"

Dad grabbed the keys and we drove down to the location, it took about three hours.

We walked up to the orphanage where there were about five police cars parked outside.

"Who are you?" A woman asked us.

"I'm James' uncle and I really would love to know what's going on here."

"It's a long story."

"Well where's James?"

"He's just down the street."

We walked down the street until James was in view. His hair was a mess and he was desperately shouting Marilyn's name.

"James!" Dad shouted and he turned around and ran towards him giving him a hug.

"What happened?" My dad asked.

"We can't find her, it's been five hours and I don't know where she is," he was crying now and I've not seen him this broken down in a long time.

"Don't worry, you need to calm down, take some rest."

"How can I do that? Kayla could be anywhere and I don't have a single clue where!"

"James, you need to take some rest, that way you'll have enough energy to look for her, kay?" Mom said this time and he calmed down and walked with us.

He sat down in our car, he kept fidgeting and I hit his arm, "calm down!"

"No! How can I? I'm so scared."

I took a deep breath and thought for a while, "there's no fear, cause I believe, there is no doubt cause I have seen, your faithfulness, my fortress over and over.

"I have a hope found in your name, I have a strength found in your grace. Your faithfulness, my fortress, over and over."

"Make way through the waters, walk me through the fire and do what you are famous for, what you are famous for. Shut the mouths of lions, bring dry bones to life and do what you are famous for, what you are famous for."

"God, I believe, in you."

"God, I believe in you."

"So calm down dude, let go and let God."

He exhaled deeply and I sat next to him. I really hope we find Kayla soon.
