The McMillan household

Unity McMillan was in her room typing away on her laptop still unaware of her daughter and son's disappearance.

She leaned back into the chair to relax her back before spotting the picture frame behind her laptop.

"Hey Dad, hey mom. How are you guys? I'm doing bad. I wish you were here to see me succeed, if only you were here."

She put the photo down and went on with her work.

The nanny on the other hand had finished preparing dinner, a late one as Unity had suggested.

She went up to Queen's room and knocked, she knocked again before opening it and looking around.

She then checked Harry's room but he was also nowhere to be seen. She started searching the entire house despite knowing that Queen never really left her room and Harry was restricted to certain things at night.

She then rushed to their parents room and knocked furiously on the door, "what? Queen I told you to never knock like that."

"It's not Queen, it's Violet, there's a problem."

"Are we out of ingredients?" Unity asked still typing on the computer. "If you are then just send Queen to go buy some."

"That's exactly the problem, Queen and Harry are missing!"

Unity finally looked up and stood, "what do you mean they're missing? Where could they have gone at this time of night?"

"I don't know, I've checked everywhere and I couldn't find them."

Unity dialed her husband's number, "The kids are gone!"

"What do you mean they're gone?" He replied on the other side of the line.

"They're not at home and, Queen's car isn't outside either," she replied looking outside.

"I'm coming home, just relax, they couldn't have gone too far," he cut the call.

Within about fifteen minutes, he practically barged through the front door and his wife engulfed him in a hug.

"Where could they have gone? Why would she run away from home and take Harry?" She sobbed and he rubbed her back comfortingly.

"Don't worry, we'll find them, I'll try tracking her phone before we call the police in case it's nothing intense."

He brought out his phone and started tapped on on till she was being tracked down.

"Got it, their just a few streets from her school."

They both rushed out and entered the car, linking his phone to the GPS system.

Within a few minutes, they were in front of a building he knew all too well but hadn't seen in years.

He swore under his breath, but his wife caught it, "what's wrong?" She asked.

"It's nothing, let's go," they immediately alighted and stalked carefully to the front door.

Standing there he began to reminisce the incident that took place eight years back.

Six years earlier

Ivan was walking home from the convenience store where he worked as a cashier.

He took a turn down the street and was about to cross the road when he saw someone.

He noticed it was his former highschool buddy and shouted his name prompting him to turn around and smile.
