After most people had left the scene, James and Marilyn were taken to the police station to sort out matters.

Henry's family came along as well.

"Look, Mrs Peters, you can't have the boy and his sister because you aren't legal adoptive parents," miss Teresa tried to explain.

"And who told you that? Have you ever considered rereading their parents last will?" She asked angrily.

This got the full attention of James as he looked up at her confused.

"Miss Teresa Montana, don't you forget that I am one of the city's best lawyers. I, for your information, wrote my best friends, their parents will when they were still alive."

"My mom and dad wrote a will?" James interrupted.

"Yes James, they said they had a feeling, that God told them to write a will."

Teresa scoffed and rolled her eyes, "and in that will, their custody was given to his uncle. And now that he's failed to look after them, he'll loose everything including their company."

"Indeed, you are right, but," Daisy turned to her husband, "did you bring the copy of the will?" He gave her the copy and she showed it to Teresa.

"It says here that if in any case, their legal guardian, Mr Adam Davison is found unable to look after the children, their custody and everything under their names are to be handled by the Peters family until they come of age."

James was in shock as he stared at Henry's mom trying to get his custody.

Henry himself was a little shocked.

This was how God worked. How He brings people to your aid when everything seemed impossible.

Miss Teresa was dumbfounded, she cleared her throat and said, "I guess you have good evidence to stand in court, seeing as they're already in your custody, they'll stay with you until the court hearing. When the judge oversees everything, maybe... You'll be given the full custody."

Henry and his dad cheered while Daisy gave a sigh of relief.

"I'm so sorry I took so long to notice what was going on, why didn't you tell me you were all alone in the house?" She turned towards James.

"I didn't want to stress you guys, you've already done enough. Had I stepped out of my own little bubble at the funeral, I would have known there was a will and I wouldn't have hesitated to be under your custody."

"And my own big headed son couldn't even do so either," she said and slapped Henry's head.

"Hey, haircut," he joked and they laughed.

"I guess now I have two sons and a daughter."

"Twins and a daughter," Henry placed his arm on James shoulder.

"I really just realized you were born on the same day."

"Weren't we just meant to be?" Henry asked and his father slapped his head this time.

"Watch the hair!"

"Say that again and you'll be bald."

Amidst the laughter Marilyn smiled from the seat she lay, she then snuggled in and whispered, "thank you, God."

"So, I guess I out of two dares are complete."

"Yeah," James smiled, "what are you gonna do about Queen?"

"She's been adamant about accepting God. But I'm still a watchman, there's one last thing I will do and then leave the rest in God's hands. I can't do it on my own. If she refuses to see the truth, at least I would have done my best."

"So what are you going to do?"

"You know that her birthday's next week right?"

"Yeah, I heard from some classmates."

"Yeah, I heard she had a grand party last year, so what I'm going to do is leave her a gift."

"What gift?"

"I'll tell you when it's done."

James shrugged and picked up Marilyn from the sofa and walked into the guest room he and she would be staying in until he turned eighteen.

The room was different from his old one, it wasn't his home, but it was home.

He smiled and laid her down. Stroking her hair, grateful to God that she was alive. Grateful to God that they found her.

He was grateful to God for acquainting him with Sarah who protected her from the strange man.

He was grateful, for God had done miracles, so many of them in one day.

He knelt down and closed his eyes, ready to appreciate God for all his love, his favour, his grace.

"God what do I tell you? How do I say it to you? You do so much in such little time. You're really a great God. I thank you for your divine protection. For keeping my sister and I safe despite the loss of our parents. I appreciate your love that never runs out on me. I bless you for your mercy that keeps promising me a great future. For your grace that always pulling me out of situations. For always giving me another chance.

God, thanks for my aunt Daisy and uncle Sam. Thanks for raising them up to help my sister and I. I'm just... I'm just awestruck that you love me so much. That you have set your angels on high alert around my family and friends. I can't say any less, you're so high and mighty and yet you care so much for beings who give you little consideration.

I bless you for Sarah, who you showed your presence to. Thank you for the new life she's started in you. I ask that you keep her and her father under your wings forever.

I also thank you for Queen McMillan. I bring her before you and I ask of you this one thing, show yourself to her, Lord. Make her eyes open to your love and glory and give her comfort in your love.

I just ask that you show your love to everyone we've met and bring them towards you, in Jesus' name I pray Amen."

"Amen!" Marilyn chided next to him.

"I didn't even know you were awake, you've become a ninja huh?" He tickled her and she laughed along.

So thou, O son and f man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
