Xiu Min and Lay went out and bought some tteokboki for us.
Although we are really hungry, we just used it as an excuse to talk about their relationship.
“Xiu Min was with Lu Han before. They were in a relationship for almost 3 years, ever since the training days. Now Umin hyung is with Lay. State your complaints now or remain silent while they are in a relationship.”
Kris opened up the topic. There were no responses at first.
“Isn’t it too stressful for Umin hyung?”
Baek Hyun started the opening of ideas. His partner, Chan Yeol, seconded the motion.
“I mean, I know Umin hyung is always lonely . . .”
Xiu Min is always lonely?
“. . But with his growing popularity, would he have enough time to handle a relationship? Thinking about it now, if ever this won’t work out, this would also affect Lay hyung’s feelings.”
Chan Yeol finished the sentence that his boyfriend couldn’t.
All of us grew quiet then. To be realistic, Umin won’t have enough time for Lay as his schedules would grow hectic. And this would affect Lay’s psychological state. Having a boyfriend who doesn’t have enough time for you would be so stressful and frustrations would build up.
“But, these past few days, when Lay and Umin hyung officially announced it, I could already feel that Umin hyung already started to relax a bit. Like a heavy load was taken off his shoulders. He seems happier, more carefree.”
We agreed on Kai’s observation, as we have seen them ourselves.
In the end, before Lay and Umin could return, they all agreed to just support them in their relationship. I also agreed, half-heartedly.
