A Bittersweet Smile

A Different Road

Lu Han's POV

A month has passed after we released our 'Overdose' mini album, and here we are at the CEO's office discussing things that would benefit our group for our first solo concert. We are practicing hard since the concert would be held two weeks from now.

"So, I expect you to work harder this time. You're all grown men already. Work hard to earn money for our company."

We left after the CEO's final 'order'. We went to our vans, which was also separated as M and K. I can't sit with Se Hun now.

After the day that Se Hun and Xiu Min went out to buy coffee, I, particularly, we, never saw them talk or even sit together again, like they're avoiding something. Of course, Se Hun would approach Xiu Min, but the elder would just look through Se Hun, ignore him, and walk away. We thought that they fought outside, but that doesn't seems like the case.

Xiu Min doesn't look angry, or furious of Se Hun. He looks more like. . . he's sad. I don't know if the others also saw it. He doesn't talk much anymore, though he didn't really talk much before. Even Lay got confused.

"Umin hyung!"

Se Hun called out, dazing me out of my trance. We all looked at Se Hun. He knew that Xiu Min would just ignore him, but he kept on trying anyways.

He walked to Xiu Min, who was already waiting for the elevator. He didn't even turn around to face the younger.

"You dropped this."

Se Hun handed him a black handkerchief. That was weird, cause Xiu Min never had a black handkerchief.

He looked back at Se Hun, actually at Se Hun's hand where the hanky still lays.

"Thanks."

And that was it. Not another word spoken. Not another interaction made.

The elevator came and Xiu Min quickly went inside. Since the 12 of us really can't fit, four of us remained to wait for the next elevator, which is currently used at the ground floor.

Se Hun stayed, he walked to one of the benches and sat there while waiting. I sat beside him.

"Hunnie, what's wrong? You seem sad."

"Nothing, hyung. I'm alright."

"Is it because of Umin?"

He took a deep sigh before looking straight to the place where Xiu Min stood before.

"It's just that, I don't know what to do anymore."

"Why? What's wrong between the two of you?"

". . . Nothing."
