𝔖𝔱𝔯𝔦𝔭𝔭𝔦𝔫𝔤 𝔉𝔬𝔯 𝔥𝔦𝔪

Christmas day

"Okay y/n open up your gifts" Eren orders, I had gotten so used to watching everyone else open their gifts for the past hour and a half I forgot I had anything

He pointed to the side of the tree that had only gold wrapped gifts, I assume that all his gifts were in that gold wrapping paper

The only people Eren got gifts for was me, and my dad got one thing from him

"Oh shit, thanks Eren" my dad came and gave him a hard shoulder tap

My dad ran to show my mom the new Rolex watch he was gifted

I laugh as I walk to my gifts, taking a seat on the floor before grabbing one

"You can open the clothes later, for now just open these three" He pushes three gifts toward me

the first was small, the second was medium sized,  and the last was a rectangular box

I start with the bigger one, quickly ripping the paper off the present

A cage?

it was pretty pink, that already made me like it

Right as I looked up with confusion my dad walks toward me holding a fluffy little white dog

"Eren, Dad, Thank you!" I jump up to grab the dog from his hands

The wagging tail dog licks my face, making me smile

"What you gonna name our baby?" Eren jokes

"I don't know yet" I sit the dog down as I got back on the floor

Instead of leaving my side it snuggled on my leg, this dog was so cute

But i didn't wanna give it a name i'd start disliking, "cutie?" I whisper

A honest name that exactly described the dog

That wasn't hard.

I grab the medium sized box, unwrapped it to find a beautiful dress, that came with a pair of white gemstone heels 

"Eren, this outfit is"

"I can't wait to see you in it" Eren cuts me off

Everyone stares at us for a second, making noises and acting so surprised

I chuckle before grabbing the last gift

Inside the tiny box was a note, and underneath it was another smaller box

"Check your account that's where the big present is" I read out loud

I look over toward Eren with a smile on my face, he didn't have to give me money all the time!

but I know when he does it's never a tiny amount!

I sat the note beside me grabbing the tiny box
then I opened it

My eyes widen and I turn facing everyone looking around

"it's not a proposal just yet" Eren assures as he took a seat beside me

"But it is a promise ring from me to you, to promise you that I'll always love you, and To promise you that one day I will put a real proposal ring on your finger" Eren told me as the two of us share eye contact

I wanted to cry just knowing that he did want to marry me some day, and I knew he loved me but I've never felt this loved by anyone before

He makes me so happy

I hand the ring to him before sitting my hand out in front of him

He slid the ring on my ring finger

I hold my hand up taking a good look at it, the ring was gorgeous, so many diamonds!

"I love you so much" I wrap my arms around Eren giving him a kiss

"I love you too" he said once I let him go

I would've asked Eren to open his gifts now, but I had already let him open them

I suck when it comes to holding christmas presents, I begged him to open his presents days ago

"Did you get Eren anything" my mom asks taking a sip of the "Adult eggnog"

I nod

"Well so did I" she competes

She walks past everyone with a big bag

Eren stares at her weird, "uh, ma'am, did you get your daughter anything?" He asks

"um, Did i need to?" she jokes before sitting his gift beside him, she bent down trying to kiss him on the cheek and steal a hug

Damn, it's like she just doesn't stop

dodging her kiss and hug he just said "thank you" instead before standing up

" I hope everyone enjoyed the christmas dinner, it was great to see everyone" I say trying to change the subject

I go sit beside my favourite cousin, she tells her son to go play with the other kids

"Eren... Is, i don't what to say like, the both of you together, you both look so good together" Ramona compliments

"Mom wants him" I joke

"your mom wants everyone, she needs to just sit down somewhere, and I say that in the most respectful way as possible"

the two of us laugh

Eren walks toward us so I add him in the conversation

"This is Ramona, my favourite person in the family" I introduce her to him

"Eren, you got a brother??" She jokes

The three of us laugh

"I have a close friend who's like a brother to me, actually he should be arriving any moment now"

Right at the perfect time there was some knocking on the door

I ran to open it and there he was, "Hi Armin" I gave him a hug before closing the door behind him

"Is that your brother" Ramona asks Eren before quickly jumping out of her seat

"Hi!" She ran toward him

I walk back toward Eren, the two of us go out to the balcony laughing

I stare out in the sky, before looking back at him

"I love you so much, thank you for all the gifts, no one's ever done so much for me" I thank him

" I'd do anything for you, and don't forget I do intend on keeping my promise" Eren says as he pulls me closer

I push my face closer toward his, starting a kiss

We broke out of the kiss looking at the dog causing the clawing noise at the door

"Cutie!" I slid the door open grabbing the dog and holding it in my arms

I hand her to Eren, and he wraps his arm around her and me

We watch the Fireworks from the view of the city as we enjoy the last few hours of Christmas day

I have to say, this is the best Christmas I've ever experienced.
