"Are you sure you have to leave?" Cale asked, a scowl staining his otherwise attractive face.
Ciel responded with a hum as he put on his black hooded cloak. He had already intended to inspect the situation to see if anything had changed as a result of his arrival. Ciel is perplexed by the fact that Basen is still in the mansion rather than traveling to the northeastern nobles' meeting. Choi Han and the crown prince aren't supposed to meet yet, but when he came to the palace, they were together.
"Is your household not invited to the conference of the nobles of the northeast?" Ciel asked the redhead as he turned around.
Cale scoffed and crossed one leg over the other in his seat. "Of course, we're invited, but the meeting has been rescheduled."
"Why so?" Ciel inquired, raising an eyebrow in puzzlement.
"It's unbelievable, isn't it, how the moon turned blood red for a week?" Cale replied, "It just got back to normal the day before I saw you." He stood there watching while the black-haired man stared blankly at the ground, as though deep in thought.
'Cale, wasn't that in our original world when we were fighting the enemies?' the glutton asked.
'It appears to have vanished the instant we came here,' the Super Rock continued.
Ciel moaned and rubbed his temples together. Some things appear to have changed as a result of his arrival.
"Hey," the redhead said, as he shook out of his reverie and returned his gaze.
"Does the Harris Village hold any importance for you?" Cale inquired, his face solemn. He's still resentful of the village, but he couldn't say no if the black-haired man asked him to rebuild it. He can't seem to say no to what the other man wants.
"No?"
Cale looked bewildered and blinked. "Then why do you want me to rebuild it?"
"We can't build our family at the Henituse Mansion, can we?" Ciel glanced back at him, puzzled, before saying in a bored tone.
The redhead's eyes expanded just a tiny little bit. Is it true that the other man intends to grant his wish? Is he truly interested in starting a family with him? Ciel was correct; he would rather leave that house and join the other man in starting a family with him.
"All right, I'll reconstruct it for you." Despite his harsh feelings for the village, he would brush them away in order to give the other man what he desires. He had not anticipated the man to stay with him and perhaps start a family with him. It's a win-win situation for him.
Ciel smiled as he nodded. "Are you planning on attending the meeting?"
"I have no intention of doing so." Cale closed his eyes and rested back against the chair. "Basen will probably go instead."
"Oh, that's a pity. Cale's eyes widened as Ciel exhaled deeply and said, "I was hoping to meet you there after I'm done with my business."
Before the redhead spoke, there was a tongue click.
Cale mumbled, a sulky expression on his face, "Fine, I can tolerate those insufferable nobles for a while."
"I'll go in with you once I'm finished with my business." Ciel chuckled at the look.
"Even better," Cale whispered under his breath before standing up and grabbing the black-haired man's wrist. "I'll go tell the count then,"
Ciel glanced at him blankly while allowing himself to be dragged by the redhead. He looked at the children laying on the bed before they left the room.
