"Cale Henituse, you really should quit showing up in my office without warning," Zed said, palming himself in the face and sighing heavily.
Ciel sheepishly stared at him as he sat tiredly on the couch with a deep sigh, surrounded by the three children who had made themselves at home. "My name is Ciel now."
"You're going to give me a heart attack next time, Ciel," the blonde grumbled as he returned his attention to his paperwork, but not before casting a glance at the sleepy guy and saying, "I presume you're here to tell me the details?"
"We should talk about the approaching celebration of your 50th birthday first," Ciel began, humming and resting his cheek on the back of his palm before continuing, "I will tell you all the other information next time."
"How come? I have all the time in the world to listen," says the blond.
"I know you do," Ciel responded as he concentrated his gaze on the other guy, "I just don't think you will be able to sleep properly if I tell you everything today."
Zed blinked for a split second before rubbing his brow in frustration. He's already having difficulties sleeping because he knows their kingdom will be destroyed in a few years. He is unlikely to be able to understand all of the information in a single day. He's appreciative since the man is concerned about his health. "That... I think you're right."
The black-haired man gave him a faint smile before handing him a thin pile of papers with information and an exquisitely detailed hand-drawn illustration of locations and individuals he appeared to know. "What is the purpose of these drawings?"
"On the day of the royal festival celebrating your 50th birthday, magic bombs will be set off throughout the capital and within the plaza," Ciel explained, occasionally stopping to observe the other man's terrified and shocked expression before pointing to the image he had secretly drawn in the Henituse Mansion and saying, "These are the locations where the magic bombs will be placed."
"Throughout the capital?" Zed appeared to be deep in contemplation, interlocking his fingers as he stared at the photographs. "A lot of people would die if a magic bomb exploded within the plaza."
"There are also magic explosives attached to people," Ciel said, nodding and pointing to the paper with the sketches of various people.
"This is... this is far too dangerous."
Raon moved closer to the table and examined the documents with interest, saying, "Human, I will help you! I can detect any magic bombs!"
"We can help too, nya!" exclaimed On and Hong, then purred when the black-haired man lovingly caressed their heads in response to their comment.
— It's alright, we will go somewhere else instead.
"That's why," he said, pausing with a sigh as he looked into the other man's eyes. "I want you to discuss this with your eldest son and let him handle it."
