Chapter 16: They Don't Know....

(NIALL'S POINT OF VIEW)

Weeks passed and we were still all happy as clams. It was time to pop a certain question though.

Avery, Amanda, Eleanor, Perrie, and Danielle were all over with us watching movies. The first one we watched was "Pitch Perfect". Now, were watching "Tommy Boy".

Avery was next to me and Harry was next to her with Amanda. On the other side of us was Louis and El. Next to them on the floor with pillows were the other two couples, Zerrie, and Payzer.

The movies were great. Funny and hilarious, and just great to lighten the mood.

Her laugh was so cute and funny. It was a loud giggle with a subtle hiccup in there. It was cute, and made me love her even more.

The end credits came on and I stood up. I reached for Avery's hand. She took it.

"Where are we going?" She asked as I brought her into the hallway. I felt eight pairs of eyes drilling into my back.

We rounded the corner and I made sure nobody could see us. Her back was against the wall. I leaned in and kissed her so passionately. She took it by surprise and went along with it.

I broke from her and she looked at me with astonished eyes. "What was that for?" She whispered.

"Just felt like I needed to kiss you. I had gone a whole day without doing it." I smiled at her.

She giggled and stared at the floor.

"Okay, now come with me." I took her hand again. She followed me to my room.

"Wow, it's surprisingly clean in here." She said with wide eyes.

I gave her a 'don't look so surprised' look. She giggled, again.

I sat down on my bed, and she came and sat next to me. Just what I wanted.

"Avery, you know that we won't be here much longer."

"Wait, what do you mean?"

"Our Take Me Home Tour? That's in two months."

"Oh my gosh, you're right! What's going to happen to us?"

"Well, I was thinking about that last night after our big date."

"What's going to happen to us while you're gone?!"

She sounded terrified and had a worried look on her face.

"Aves. Listen to me," I cupped her face in my hands. "I was thinking about that last night. All the boys love you, like a sister. If you can, and your sister doesn't mind, I want you to come with me, well us, on tour."

Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open.

"Baby, say something, please."

"Well, I would love to, honestly. But I just don't know how well that will work?"

"Avery. This is how it works: the boys and I fly to wherever we have to perform first, we sing in different places, stay at hotels, ride the tour bus to places, and when the tour is over, we fly home and work on more music. Simple."

"Okay, I get how a tour works, Ni. I just don't know how Mandie will get along without me. We do almost everything together, and we depend on each other for everything."

"I understand that. We have a couple extra beds on the tour bus? She could come too?"

"That's too much for you guys to handle. I couldn't impose. I would feel so bad. I couldn't."

"Avery. You could never impose. Never. The boys love you, and your sister. Do you see how much time we spend with you?"

"But why aren't Perrie, Eleanor, and Danielle invited to come?"

"The boys invited them to come last time, but they couldn't because of work, and school, and Perrie in Little Mix. It's a lot for them to handle. They know we can fly them out to see certain shows, but they don't come to each one. It's just too much."

"Oh. Well Niall, I really would love to come. I would, but my sister, like I said...."

"Ave, look at me. You, AND your sister are allowed to come. Anything you need can come along, and if you don't have what you need, we will buy it."

"I can't let you hold the responsibility for me, and my sister. That's too much to ask."

"What do I have to do to make you say yes? Huh?"

"Honestly, all you'v--"

At that moment I cut her off and crashed my lips against hers. She was taken totally by surprise, and that's exactly what I had wanted. Her eyes were open there for a few seconds, then they fluttered closed.

For a few minutes we were just frozen in that figure, her hands tangled in my hair, my hands on her waist, our lips locked.

Then, Harry comes through my doorway.

"Guys? Oh geez, I'm sorry. I'll ask later."

We broke from our frozen figure and Avery turned to Harry. "What is it Haz?"

"Well, we all wanted to watch another movie and wondered if you did too."

"Oh," she turned to me, "Ni? You wanna?"

"Mmmm I guess? We'll be out in a few, Harreh."

Harry rolled his eyes and left.

"So, are you going to come with us?" I asked.

"Babe, I still don't know. That's a lot for you guys to handle. And your fans don't even know about us."

"Avery, that's good if our fans don't know, because I don't want you getting hate. I like relationships where only few people know. I don't want everybody knowing. Now will you just say yes already? You know you want to..."

"Alright, Horan. Fine. I will go on tour with you guys. Happy now?"

"You have no idea." I cupped her face and pulled her close to me. "I love you Avery."

There were no other words said, and we went back out to watch the movie.
