2: Meeting Him

Chapter 2

(AMANDA'S POINT OF VIEW)

Avery knocked on the door, and then a few seconds later, a blonde haired beauty opened it. Niall! I just about screamed! But I couldn't. I was following my sister's lead.

Avery cleared her throat and opened her mouth to speak. But, nothing came out.

So, I spoke for her, "Hi, Niall. I'm Amanda Samuels. This is my sister, Avery. We're your new neighbors..." I continued on but after a while I just stopped because it seemed like he wasn't even listening. He was just standing there looking like an idiot, staring at Avery. I turned my head to look at her and she was doing the same thing to him. I tried to get someone's attention, but they didn't break contact. So, I pushed Niall aside and walked into his flat.

"Hey boys!" I said walking in.

"Hey! Wait, who are you?" Zayn asked.

"I'm Amanda, your guises new neighbor. My sister Avery is at the door, but her and Niall won't break eye contact. They are standing there looking like idiots, just looking at each other. Not saying a word."

"Ah. I know how to fix it," Liam said. Then he yelled, "Niall! We have Nandos!"

Right when Liam said 'Nandos', Niall broke his stare with Avery and ran into the flat screaming "Where?! Where?! Where?! Wait, you guys don't have Nandos! How dare you trick me!"

"We had to get you out of your trance with Amanda's sister." Harry said as Avery walked in. "Oh and what a beauty she is too. No wonder you couldn't stop staring."

Avery blushed.

"And what is your name, love?" Harry asked her.

"Avery. Hi Harry." She said smiling.

"So you and Niall couldn't take your eyes off of each other, huh?"

Avery blushed extra hard, "Uhhhhh...."

Everyone in the room laughed, even her and Niall. Then some of us just kept talking about random stuff. Liam even ordered breakfast for everyone. We finished eating and I remembered why we came here in the first place.

"Oh! Aves, tell the boys why we came here this morning."

"Oh yeah. Okay we came here this morning because I woke up from the banging of something on the wall of my bedroom. So, I slammed the wall with my fist and yelled 'shut up' and the banging stopped. What was going on? It sounded like World War III."

Louis jumped up with an answer, "Okay love, that was just Zayn and I playin' Xbox. Some of us cherish sleep, others Xbox. Sorry, not sorry."

"Hey it's cool. I just am not a morning person and cherish my sleep."

Everyone kept making small chat and I noticed one person who hadn't said much. Niall. He was just sitting in his chair smiling and watching Avery. She hadn't looked at him at all and I was kinda surprised by that. She looked like she couldn't take her eyes off of him when she first saw him.

"So, Aves, I think we should be going now?" I said to her motioning my head towards the door.

Harry obviously didn't like that because he stood up right away, "Why do you guys have to leave? Do you not like us anymore?"

"That would never happen, Harry!" Avery said to him. Then she looked at me and said, "Why do we have to go NOW? It's only 2:00pm."

"Yeah Amanda. It's only 2:00pm. Just stay until 5:00. We don't bite. Well not all of us," Zayn said looking at Louis, Harry, and Niall. He looked back at Niall and asked, "Niall why are you still in a trance?"
