Chapter 39: The Party

(AVERY'S POINT OF VIEW)

"Turn left on the next intersection," said Siri. Gawd, I loved iPhones.

"Any clue as to how much longer this is going to take? It looks like its going to storm," I said as Siri had paused.

"Nah, Harry wouldn't tell me a thing as to where we were being sent to. Just that these were the directions and we had to be dressy," Amanda answered me.

I sat there wondering what these boys were up to. They had been secretive all week, and that was hard for a choice few of them. Cough, Louis, cough.

"Drive down this road until you reach a dead end," said the phone robot.

"Ya know Aves, I'm thinking that whatever this may be, it's going to be a good, calm night. No drama, no fighting, no nothing." Amanda was going crazy I think.

"Mands, you're insane. Anywhere we go with the boys is the OPPOSITE of calm. So, you're prediction is wrong."

We sat there for a while with me just driving and listening to Siri while Amanda did things on her phone. I thought about how this night would go and what possibly we would be doing. Amanda and I both knew that this would be a party to celebrate our birthdays, but we didn't know where, or who was invited. Just that these directions would take us to it.

"At this dead end, turn diagonally," Siri told me. I followed her instruction.

'So how far are you?' I read from my phone. Harry was anxious for us to arrive. All of the boys were already there, wherever there is.
