My Jedi Academia: Season Two (MHA X Star Wars)

Chapter Seven - Katooni VS Rosh

After Petro's victory against Kalifa, Petro makes his way to the stands where his classmates were waiting. When he reached the stands, Petro was bombarded with praise over his victory.

Katooni: Congratulations on your victory, Petro!

Zatt: You certainly had us at the edge of our seats.

Petro: Glad I could impress. Kalifa wasn't a pushover, that's for sure. She almost had me a few times.

Gungi: <It certainly looked like it! Even from where we were, we could see that neither of you were holding back.>

Katooni: You did our class proud back there, Petro. We're all proud of you.

As Katooni said this, a small smile fell on Petro's face. Meanwhile at the stands where Class 002 were, Kalifa met up with her classmates. She couldn't look them in the eye as she felt shame about her failure.

Kalifa: I blew it, guys. I'm sorry.

Jaden: Don't be, Kalifa. You gave that fight everything you had. There's no shame in defeat. Remember what Kyle said. Failure is an opportunity to learn.

As her classmates congratulated Kalifa on her effort, Kalifa's mind fell back on what Petro said to her. What he said changed Kalifa's views on Class 001. Her preconceived notion that the Jedi Initiates of Class 001 had it easy was shattered.

Rosh: Looks like our class is tied up. I got this!

With that, the Sports Festival continued as Katooni and Rosh were called to the arena.

Present Mic(Intercom): AFTER THAT THRILLING MATCH, WE GOT OURSELVES ANOTHER CLASS CLASH! HAILING FROM CLASS 001, WE HAVE KATOONI! HER OPPONENT IS ROSH PENIN FROM CLASS 002!

As Present Mic announces the two fighters, Katooni and Rosh approached one another.

Katooni: Good luck, Rosh. May the Force be with you. 

Rosh: Don't hold back on me, Katooni! Hit me with everything you got!

With that, Katooni activated her blue Lightsaber while Rosh activated his yellow Lightsaber. As the two assumed their stances, Present Mic announced the fight. 

Present Mic(Intercom): CLASH!

As the fight began, Rosh lunged at Katooni and wen for an overhead strike, but Katooni was able to parry the attack with her Lightsaber. She follows through by blasting Rosh back with Force Push. Rosh was able to land back on his feet and pressed the attack. As Rosh pressed the attack, Katooni maintained a strong defense. She allowed Rosh to attack her, waiting for the right time to strike. As Rosh attacked her with a flurry of strikes, Katooni saw her opportunity. When Rosh went for an overhead strike, Katooni leaps back and throws her Lightsaber at Rosh. Rosh was able to block the Lightsaber, but doing so left him open. Seizing the opportunity, Katooni used the Force to grip a piece of the arena and hurls it at Rosh. The debris strikes Rosh with enough force to knock him off his feet. 

Rosh: Ouch....

Rosh turned his head to see Katooni charging at him. Left with barely anytime to react, all Rosh could do was raise his Lightsaber to block Katooni's attack. 

Rosh: You're pretty good with a Lightsaber! But I got a few tricks of my own!

As Rosh said this, he sweeps Katooni's legs, tripping her to the ground. Rosh then gets back to his feet and prepares to attack Katooni, but Katooni was able to Force Push Rosh away. As the two got back on their feet, they engaged in a fast paced duel with Rosh going on the offense while Katooni maintained a strong defense. As the fight kept going, both Initiates of Class 001 and 002 watched with unblinking eyes as Katooni and Rosh gave it their all. As the fight dragged on, Katooni waited for the right time to strike. During the course of this fight, Rosh began to tire as his attacks became sluggish. Sensing the opportunity, Katooni pressed the attack and managed to disarm Rosh and follows through with a swift kick to Rosh's face, knocking him out. As Rosh was rendered unconscious, the match was over. 

Midnight: THE MATCH IS OVER! ROSH PENIN IS ELIMINATED BY KNOCKOUT!

Present Mic(Intercom): WHAT A MATCH! WHAT A MATCH! KATOONI HAS SCORED A VICTORY FOR CLASS 001! 

As the crowd cheered for Katooni, she looked to the stands and could see her fellow Class 001 classmates cheering on. Seeing that make Katooni smile as she walked over to the unconscious Rosh. She helped up up and carried him to the infirmary until two Jedi Sentinels arrived to take Rosh to the infirmary. After the match ended, Katooni made her way back to the stands where her classmates awaited her. 

Petro; Nice match out there, Katooni! You kicked ass back there!

Katooni: Thank you, Petro. 

Without hesitation, Katooni hugged Petro. This catches Petro off guard as he blushes. All Petro could do was hug Katooni back. Once the hug ended, Petro finds himself tripping over his words. Katooni simply smiled at Petro. But as the class rejoiced at Katooni's victory, Byph began to freak out as his match against O-Mer was next. 

Byph: G...guys...I don't know about this. Maybe I should forfeit.

Petro: Hey what kinda talk is that?! You got this in the bag!

Ganodi: You need to stop doubting yourself, Byph. You can do this!

Byph: But...but what if I lose? What if....

Gungi: <Win or lose, you are still our friend, Byph.> 

As his classmates tried to spur Byph's confidence, Byph still doubted himself. However, Byph didn't want to let his classmates down. With that, the next match of the Sports Festival was about to go underway as Byph would go one on one against O-Mer. Despite his own personal doubts about himself, Byph would give this fight everything he had.
