(Dragon Wars) Lost Hope

Chapter 9: Traitor!

I had been a bit afraid about this day for quite a bit of some time, if I was not going to lie to my self, as I had been hoping that this day would not come any time soon, as days just seemed to fly by so fast, as if there was some creature above that was just messing with me right now, as it seemed like it wanted the drama to rise between the tribes, never the less.
My father had in fact told the tribe about the fact that Plyma had been stuck in a cave fall, due to the fact that the humans had some sort of magical powers that could do stuff like that, as luckily, the tribe had not been angry with me at all, which I was glad for, as if seemed like they were more or less just scared of the fact that the humans that many of the dragons had not been scared of, did in fact have powers that we did not have.
I shivered at the thought of all of that, all at once, as I did my best to try to calm my self down as best as I possibly could, all at once, as I did my best to try to get my mind, and my focus off of all of those thoughts once again, as I simply just got my eyes on just what it was that was going on all around me, as there was about 50 to a hundred of so dragons that were with me right now, none the less.
Among those were dragons such as Socra, Ipse, and my friend Sola at that, never the less. I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as it seemed like Socra was in fact one of the dragons that had in fact seemed to be quite a bit upset with the fact as to just what it was that I had even done in the very first place any ways, as she had gone in to my father's cave to speak with him after that.
Not too much longer after all of that either, I had seen her head out of the cave, as I had in fact kind of been stalking that area a little bit after my father had said such a thing to the entire tribe, as I did in fact feel quite a bit guilty about it, but I couldn't seem to help but to be a little bit worried as to just what it was that the entire tribe thought about me after what it was that my father had told them about.
I knew that a lot of dragons had almost seemed to want to cheer about the news that my father had said to all of the tribe, as those seemed to be the dragons that seemed to hate the black dragons, which I was not a big fan of if I was not going to lie to my self, but I really did not care what so ever, either, so long as they did not get in to my way about it, all at the exact same time as well.
Though I suppose they might not have to, depending on how this gathering was going to go, as I felt like it was not going to go good for me what so ever, no matter what the case was, all at the exact same time too, as I blinked my eyes a few times, all at once, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of that, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden began to start to hear the voice of my friend Sola, all at the exact same time as well, which I was in fact glad for, all at the exact same time as well, as it luckily seemed to get my mind and my focus off of all of those other thoughts, all at once, once again.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I then all of the sudden turned my head over to where it was that my friend was flying with, right beside me, all at the exact same time too, as I saw that she too seemed to have quite a bit of a worried look on her face, none the less, such as I had, as it seemed to now all of the sudden begin to start to hit her, as to just how important all of this even was in the very first place any ways, once again.
I blinked my eyes a few times over towards her, either way, as I was a little bit lost still, as to just what it was that was even going on right now, either way, as I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden stared at Sola right in to her eyes, as I saw that she had in fact nodded to me, as it seemed like she could tell that I was in fact a little bit lost in my head right now, as it was clear to me that she was trying to make sure that I was in fact paying attention to her right now, all at the exact same time too.
Luckily enough for her, I was in fact paying attention to her how ever, all at once, as I then all of the sudden did in fact go right on ahead and start to nod to her, all at the exact same time as well, to let her know that I was in fact paying attention as to just what it was that she even had to say to me, in the very first place any ways, once again, none the less.
Once it was that she had in fact seen me do as such a thing like that as well, she did in fact go on ahead and start to begin to speak to me, thankfully enough for me as well, as I did in fact go right on ahead and begin to start to listen as to just what it was that she even had to go on ahead and say to me in the very first place any ways, all at the exact same time too, once again.
"We are going to get in so much trouble... What is your father going to do? Does he not have any plans? This might start a war, surely right?" She said to me, all at the exact same time as well, as it was clear that it seemed like now, all of the sudden, that she was in fact just as worried as I had been before hand, all at the exact same time too, which did in fact relieve me quite a bit, none the less, all at the exact same time as well, for some odd reason or another.
Though, I suppose that the reason was simply due to the fact that I was glad that I was not the only dragon that was in fact freaking out about this right now, as I then all of the sudden let out a bit of a soft sigh of relief, all at the exact same time as well, as I then began to start to realize as to just what it was that she had even just said to me, all at the exact same time too, about the fact that she had asked if my father had any sort of plans on to just what it was that he was going to do, or just what it was that he was going to say.
Of course he had to have some plans, how ever, as I knew that Zogan was not going to me silent, and say nothing about it when ever it was that his tribe came up to go on ahead and speak, all at the exact same time as well, as I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to calm my self down, all at the exact same time too, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those thoughts, all at the exact same time as well.
I in fact did not have any clue as to just what it was that my father did in fact have planned for all of this, as I had not even thought to have asked him any ways, all at the exact same time as well, none the less, which I felt like a little bit of an idiot due to that, all at the exact same time as well, as I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that even if I did, either way, I still would not be able to tell my friend Sola about it.
I blinked my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time as well, all at once, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those other thoughts that seemed to be in my mind right now how ever, all at the exact same time too, as I just seemed to stare at her for quite a bit of some time, all at once, as if I did not have a clue as to just what it was that I was even doing, nor did I seem to have a clue as to just what it was that I should even be doing at all right now any ways.
I shook my head a little bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I then shook my head a little bit harder over to my friend Sola, all at the exact same time as well, to let her know that I really did not have a single clue as to just what it was that my father had planned, as that kind of felt bad to let her know that I did not, but at least it was not me telling her that I did in fact know all about it, and ruining it all, all at the exact same time too, and betraying my father's trust at that.
I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at once, all at the exact same time too, as I saw the look of surprise start to come up on the face of Sola, all at the exact same time as well, as it almost seemed like she was looking at me like some sort of an idiot, none the less, that I some how did not have a single clue as to just what it was that my father was going to say to all of the dragons of all of the tribes, at the yearly gathering that we aways had, all at the exact same time too.
Sola seemed to go on ahead and start to squint her eyes over towards me, all at once, almost as if she was upset with me, as if she was my mother, and I had got in trouble over some thing, which was not the case at all, as I just got my mind and my focus off of all of those thoughts, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden began to start to let out a heavy sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too.
She had not heard it of course, as that was due to the fact that we were flying up in the air right now, but I went on ahead and began to start to speak to her either way, any ways, as I really did not care at all, what so ever, as I knew that she was paying attention to me, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden began to speak to her, all at the exact same time too.
"No... I really don't have a clue as to just what it is that he's going to say... But thanks for reminding me about that!" I said to her, as I then all of the sudden began to start to look away from her, all at the exact same time as well, as I did not want to see the look that she had on her face right now any ways, as I then all of the sudden began to start to speed up, all at once, as to just where it was that my father Peota was even at right now, all at the exact same time too.
I knew that Sola was not following me as well, luckily enough for me, as I could not hear her wings flapping from right behind me, as I knew that there was no reason as to the fact that she should in fact be following me, all at the exact same time as well any ways, all at the exact same time as well, as I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to get my mind, and to try to get my focus off of those thoughts, all at the exact same time too.
I instead got my mind and my focus on the thoughts that had to do with the fact that slowly but surely, I was in fact catching up to my father all the way up at the front of the tribe, all at the exact same time as well, as I knew that it was not some thing to be proud of either, as I knew that my father was not trying to go fast at all right now, either, as I let out a bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I once again got my mind off of all of that.
I shook my head, as I flew by Socra, who I saw that from the corner of my eyes, that she had her eyes squinted at me right now, as it did not seem like she was all too happy with me right at this very moment in time any ways, for some odd reason or another, as I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at the exact same time as well, once again, for not the first time in the last few moments, as I did my best to try to ignore her, all at the exact same time too.
I just kept on flying over to my father, who seemed to almost know that I was coming, all at the exact same time as well, as I some times wondered if he had some mythical powers him self, all at the exact same time as well, as it seemed like he always knew when ever it was that I was near by, all at the exact same time too, as I blinked my eyes a few times, and I then all of the sudden got my mind, and my focus off of all of those thoughts, once again.
I knew as to just why it was that he knew I was coming this time, as I knew that my father was not stupid, and it was clear that he could in fact hear the flapping of my wings, as I drew closer and closer overt to just where it was that he was even at, at the front of the tribe any ways, as my father just seemed to be staring at me with quite a bit of a blank look on his face, all at the exact same time as well, as it did not seem like he was really thinking on any thing at all right now.
I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I got my mind, and my focus off of all of the other thoughts that I had been thinking on before hand, and I just began to fly closer to my father, as I went on ahead and nodded to him, all at the exact same time as well, as soon as it was that I had in fact drew closer, to let him know that I had in fact came to go and speak to him, never the less.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as my father nodded back to me, all at once, but just as soon as it was that he had in fact nodded to me, he did in fact go right on ahead and begin to start to speak to me, all at the exact same time too, as I then did in fact begin to start to begin to even listen as to just what it was that he had to say to me, all at the exact same time as well, which quite a bit of a look of surprise on my own face as I did as such a thing, never the less, once again.
"So... You came to me cuz you are afraid about the fact that Zogan is going to start a war with us huh?" He asked me, all at the exact same time as well, as I felt like he was almost sort of kind of reading my mind, though I had really not been thinking on all too much before now any ways, as it seemed like he was simply reading my mind on to just what it was that I had been thinking not all too much longer before now, all at the exact same time as well, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those other thoughts, as I then all of the sudden began to start to blink my eyes over towards him, still quite a bit amazed as to just how it was that he managed to do that, as I then began to start to nod back to him, all at the exact same time too, to let him know that he was in fact kind of right... Though it was more about the fact that Sola had reminded me of either way... That did not matter all too much, as I got my mind and my focus off of all of that, as I then began to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say, all at the exact same time too, once it was that he began to start to speak to me, once again. "I will protect you... Do not worry about that..."
I looked at my father for just a few moments, as I blinked my eyes a few times over at him, as he seemed to just have quite a bit of a blank look on his face, all at the exact same time too, as to just what it was that he had even said to me in the very first place any ways, as I got my mind, and my focus off of all of the thoughts that had to do with Zogan, which I knew that I had already done enough thinking on that dragon, so it was best to just let it be at this point, at least, that was how it was that I felt, none the less.
I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those thoughts, all at the exact same time as well, as I then got my focus on to the fact that had to do with the actual reason that I had come this way for my father, all at the exact same time as well, which was of course the fact that I had come here to go on ahead and talk to him about just what it was that he had planned at this gathering, all at the exact same time too, once again.
I blinked my eyes a times, all at the exact same time as well, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those other thoughts that seemed to come to my mind, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden shook my head at my father, to let him know that he was in fact wrong with what it was that he had assumed this time, even though I knew very well that a part of what it was that he had in fact said to me, was partially what it was that I had been thinking on before I had come this way.
I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to calm my self down, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden saw him tilt his head over towards me, as it was clear that he seemed to be quite a bit surprised by the fact that I kind of had told him that he was in fact wrong with what it was that he had in fact thought just before now, all at the exact same time as well, as I saw him blink his eyes a few times, all at the exact same time too, as it seemed like he was now all of the sudden trying to calm him self down, all at the exact same time as well, once again.
I blinked my eyes a few times, as I did my best to try to stay as calm as I possibly could, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden went on ahead and began to start to think on the fact that it was clear that he now had gone on ahead and nodded to me, as it was clear that my father was in fact quite a bit interested in just what it was that I had come over to here to ask of him in the very first place any ways, never the less.
I stared at my father right in to his eyes, as we just kept on flying over to where it was that the gathering place was at, which I was fairly certain that at this point, it could be not all too far away, all at the exact same time as well, as I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at once, as I got my mind and my focus off of all of those thoughts once again, all at the exact same time too.
I was not all too sure as to just even what it was that I was even doing right now, but in the end, I got my mind, and I got my focus just on to just what it was that was important right at this very moment in time too, as I then all of the sudden went on ahead, and began to start to nod to my father, all at the exact same time as well. It was in fact to let him know that I was in fact about to go on ahead and start to speak to him of course, as I breathed in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those other thoughts that were in my mind.
My father looked at me with quite a bit of a blank look on his own face for a bit of some time too, as in the end, he then did in fact go right on ahead and start to nod back to me thankfully enough, to let me know that he was in fact paying attention as just what it was that I was even about to say to him in the very first place any ways, once again, as it seemed to relax me a little bit, just to know that I wasn't just talking to some blank air right now, like it some times felt with Sola.
I blinked my eyes a couple times, once again, as in the end, I then did in fact go right on ahead and begin to start to speak to my father, now that it was that I did in fact know that he was in fact beginning to even start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say to him, all at the exact same time as well, once again.
"Well... Not really... I was more just interested in just what it was that you were going to say... There is going to be a lot of drama at this gathering..." I said to my father, as I continued to look him right in to his eyes once again, to let him know that I was in fact being for real with just what it was that I was even asking him right at this very moment in time too, as I then once again began to start to breath in quite a bit heavily to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to calm my self down, all at the exact same time as well.
I stared at my father right in to his eyes for just a little bit longer, until my father then all of the sudden nodded back to me in a little bit of a response, which was not much of an answer as to just what it was that I had even just asked in the very first place any ways, if so was going to be for real with my self too, as I then all of the sudden did in fact go right on ahead and start to tilt my head over to my father, as it felt like I did in fact have quite a bit of a reason to be confused with him.
My father seemed to just stare right back at me, in to my own eyes for just a little bit longer, until in the end, he then all of the sudden went right on ahead and began to start to turn his head away from me, as he then instead began to start to look ahead of us, as it seemed like he now had his focus on the fact that he wanted to make sure that he was taking our tribe in to the correct location that we even needed to go and be at in the very first place any ways.
I felt like I could not blame him for that one what so ever, but it still felt like it kind of upset me, and it did in fact kind of annoy me quite a bit, as to just what it was that he was even doing right now, as it seemed like he did not have an answer to what it was that I had just asked him, or if it was just the fact that he did not want to answer what it was that I had even asked him in the very first place any ways, which it felt like either way that it was that I was to even look at it, it upset me quite a bit.
I did my best to try to calm my self down all at once, all at the exact same time as well, as I then all of the sudden let out quite a bit of a soft sigh to my self once again, as I got my mind and my focus off of all of those thoughts, and I then just went on ahead and began to start to continue to follow my father over to just where it was that he was even trying to take the entire tribe over to, in the very first place any ways, once again.
I nodded a bit to my self, as it seemed like just as soon as it was that I had got my eyes, and my focus on just what it was that was going on in front of us, and as I had begun to start to think on just what it was that was waiting for us over there, all at the exact same time too, that was when it was that my father all of the sudden seemed to want to go on ahead and start to speak to me, as it seemed like he might not have had very much of a plan as to just what it was that he was even going to say in the very first place any ways, him self, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of rolled my eyes quite a bit to my self once again, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that my father was thinking, as I was not all too sure as to just how it was that he could just go in to all of this, and not even think on just what it was that he was going to say in the very first place any ways, as it felt like we were going to lose this sort of verbal battle that our tribe was going to have with Zogan's tribe, all at the exact same time as well, as I breathed in once again, to my self, to get my mind and my focus off of all of those thoughts as well.
I blinked my eyes a few times, all at once, as I then all of the sudden went on ahead and began to start to see that my father had in fact nodded to me, as I saw that he did in fact have his eyes back on me, such as he had before now, when it was that he had spoken to me a few moments ago, and I had in fact gone on ahead and spoken back to him as a little bit of a response, all at the exact same time as well, none the less, once again.
I did my best to try to calm my self down, all at once, as I got my mind, and I got my focus on the fact that I should go on ahead and start to nod back to him, to let him know that I was in fact paying attention, as to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, once again, all at once, as I then all of the sudden let out a bit of a soft sigh of relief to my self, all at once, once it was that I had done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too.
Once it was that my father had in fact seen me nod back to him as a little bit of a response back to him, to let him know that I was in fact paying attention to him right now, he then did in fact finally go right on ahead, and start to go to speak to me, all at once, as I did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, all at the exact same time as well.
"I don't really have plans on just what it is that I am going to say... That's still some thing you need to learn about me... I have a general idea, but I am waiting for what Zogan is going to say first before I respond... I don't want to have a certain mind set going in to all of this, only to just have that entire mind set that I had fail on me before it is that it has a chance to get started..." He said to me, as I looked at him with quite a bit of a blank look on my own face this time, all at the exact same time as well, as I really was not all too sure as to just how it was that I should really even respond back to just what it was that he had even said to me, all at the exact same time too. I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to calm my self down, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of the thoughts that had seemed to come to my mind before hand, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden began to start to blink my eyes a few times, as I felt like my father had a little bit of a fair point on just what it was that he had even said to me, all at the exact same time as well, once again. I then all of the sudden did in fact start to nod back to my father, to let him know that I had heard him. Once it was that he had noticed that, he began to start to speak to me once again, though he had his eyes, and his focus back on to just what it was that he had in front of us, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he had to say to me again, just as he had done before. "Don't worry about all of it son... We will be fine, we are just about there right now..."
I stared at my father for just a little bit longer, even though he seemed to not be paying me any sort of attention right now, of course, as he should not be, as there was a lot more important things that were in front of us right now, such as the fact that it seemed to be like the fact that there was a bunch of dragons in a very big clearing that was in front of us right now. When I said a bunch, I really did mean a bunch, as there had to be a couple thousand.
I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at once, as I did my best to try to calm my self down, all at the exact same time as well, as I saw that there were red dragons, and there were black dragons galore, all over the place right now, all at the exact same time too, as I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at once, as I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of those thoughts once again, as I did my best to try to calm my self down, and try to tell my self that every thing was going to be okay.
Now that it was that we were in fact in the clearing, I then all of the sudden heard the flaps of the wings of a lot of the dragons that were in our tribe, from right behind me, all at the exact same time as well, as it was in fact clear to me that they could not wait to go and meet up with all of their friends, all at the exact same time too. As I felt like I should say the same, except, for the fact that I knew that Plyma and Aitoka were my only other friends that were out side of my own tribe.
I really felt a little bit guilty of the fact that had to do with Plyma of course, so I kind of did not want to go out of my way in search for Aitoka right now, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden began to start to breath in quite a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too, as I felt like my best option was to just wait back, and go with where ever it was that my friend Sola was to go, all at the exact same time as well.
Just as soon as it was that I was about to stop my self, and leave my father to go over to where it was that he felt like he wanted to go, I then all of the sudden began to start to hear an angry voice of a familiar dragon start to yell over in my direction, all at the exact same time too, as I breathed in quite a bit to my self, all at once, all at the exact same time as well, as I did my best to try to stay as calm as I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, as I then all of the sudden turned my head over to the dragon that seemed to be speaking to me right now.
The dragon that I saw, which was of course just so happening to stare at me, right in to my eyes, all at the exact same time too, just so happened to be Zogan, which was the father of Plyma, as of course, I really could not blame Aitoka for having to explain to Zogan as to just why it was that she had come back to their tribe with out the son of Zogan, but at the exact same time as well, it seemed like Aitoka might have said a little bit more, just based off of the look that I saw on the face of Zogan right at this very moment in time too.
I breathed in quite a bit to my self, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I possibly could, as I looked at the massive black dragon right in to his eyes, as I saw quite a bit of a furious look on his face right now, as he just went on ahead and began to start to continue to speak up to me, all at once, as I could see that from the corner of my eyes, that my father Peota was right beside me, in the case that things were to get too ugly.
Based off of the look that was on the face of Zogan right now, it almost looked like he wanted to make things get ugly, all at the exact same time too, as I did my best to try to keep my self calm, all at once, as I then all of the sudden just stared at the black dragon right in to his eyes for the longest period of time, as I began to start to listen as to just what it was that he even had to say to me in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"Himla! You are a terrible friend! And you are a traitor!"
