Chapter 1

(13 years later)

"Catch me if you can old man!" said a boy in an oversized shirt running through the hallways barefoot getting chased by a mad old man who work there as a professor.

"Come here you rat! You've broke my stuff for the hundreds time this week, Aether!"

Aether giggle as he continue to run looking for a familiar figure while on it. He mumble"oh come on. Where is he". Right when he reach in front of a blue white door with a big window on the side letting him to peek in and saw the person he was looking for. Just before he was about to push the door his wrist was grab by the professor. It was too late.

"Got you rat! Now come, you need to be inject to sleep before 8pm". He pull Aether wrist harsh and try to drag him away but it's not thay easy since Aether is also struggling.

"Let me go! I don't want to, dont you understand?!" Aether struggle kicking trying to reach the old man face but before he could do any further the door opened revealing a handsome figure with a blonde hair wearing a scientist-like coat holding a pen on his left hand." What's with the loud noise..." as the man cross his arm with a calm face.

"We're sorry Professor Albedo. I will take this filthy boy with me now. Im sorry for the trouble we made" as the old man pull aether by his wrist.

"wait..." a silence occure for a few second as the alchemist continue "Let him go. I'll have Aether with me tonight"

"Oh- uh sure prof" Aether immediately hid behind Albedo as the professor let his wrist go and walk away.

"Now then. What have you done Aether" Albedo look at Aether who's still tugging on his coat asking for pity.

(time skip)

Aether sit on one of the chair in Albedo lab waiting to be question by Albedo even though it's not his first time using Albedo as his savior. He watches as Albedo place an injection needle on the table containing a medicine that can put Aether to sleep in a split second. That's how Aether was put to sleep everyday by the scientists and staff who work in that weird building.

"I don't want that thing...." Albedo squat and stare into Aether's golden eye thinking of a way to answer those words. "Then what do you want?". Aether smile and immediately point to another door inside Albedo lab that lead to another room where Albedo would spent his night sleeping and others. "I want you to put me to sleep like you always do. It's really comfortable"

Albedo grin hearing those words. "It's called cuddle Aether. If you insist, sure. But I can't help you all the time you know" he walk to close the lamp and proceed to drag Aether with him walking into his bedroom. He's used to this as Aether hates being forced and would always look for him. But sometimes he would also saw Aether with a dark haired boy as tall as him with a green highlight on his hair being followed by Aether going to the underground room where agent equipment and weapon are placed. Guess the dark haired boy is one of the agent who would went outside the building to guard the agency and are involved in assassination missions.

Not a surprised for him since even if Aether is one of their project experiments he is treated as if he's one of them who happen to live in the agency not knowing what the outside world is like and what even is a 'home'.

Hello, this is my first time writing a fanfic and I'm sorry if there's a lot of misspelled and stuff. This is just a try and if the read reach 50 at least I will continue. I appreciate for the support you could give :P
