Xiao has been standing outside the room for a while. Guarding the door leaving Albedo and Aether inside to settle down with stuff. On the other room the rest are discussing about their next move.
Whatever it is Xiao already planned out a way to take Aether with him. Not staying or going back to the agency. Xiao is already familiar with certain places.
Apparently the worl were living in will surprised Aether. He'll realise how luck he is. During missions Xiao will be told to guide few teams in search of other kinds like Aether outside the agency area. There's only buildings and houses, dust and silent.
Outside it's an absolute arena full with monsters known to be created by someone named Gold. Normal human can never survive with this environment but the possibility of someone like Aether to exist is 1% but bring hopes to humanity.
The door cracked open. There stand the alchemist, seems like he got his job done. "I've placed something on his waist that can prevent him from going berserk again. He's under our control now"
"What do you wish to do with the rest of them for now then? You should talk to them.." secretly trying to push Albedo away so he can have his time to slip out with Aether. "You'll stay here. I'll go and settle things down. We'll bring Aether back with us no matter what"
Xiao grinned crossing him arm watching Albedo stride the hallway to the other side. Xiao turn his back and went in observing the room before switching his attention to Aether.
He's covered in blanket with his shoulder exposed. Few bandages around his arm shirtless. Xiao went closer to caress the boy pale skin admiring the pure human being. It feels so unfair to think how Aether is completely clueless about everything and even he himself.
Xiao lift the blanket to check out the thing Albedo placed on Aether's waist. It's worn like a corset which is pretty...sexy. "I'll look for some clothes. You stay asleep" a kiss landed on Aether's forehead.
Straight into the dressing room Xiao was kinda surprised. It was indeed massive. A sigh slip from the man lips before he start to search around the room. Gotto be fast before the alchemist return.
They has been discussing for hours and Lumine haven't spoken a word ever since he witness what happened a while ago. It was far from her expectations. No matter how many time Diluc explained to them about everything, nome of them actually went through her brain.
"Lumine, did you hear? This blonde mf wish to take your brother with them. Shouldn't we do something" Kazuha has been the one talking the entire time refuse to do as Albedo said.
He wont give Aether away that easy. That brunette with green stripe assassin is also a problem now avoiding him from seeing Aether. "Let him..." Kazuha's eyes widened. "You can take Aether with you.. My only request is please do take care of him"
Lumine stood up walking out the room aware of what she just said. The disappointment on Kazuha face are obvious. He looked down while Diluc watches as Lumine pull the door open next to Albedo.
"Im sorry but has anyone seen Childe?" the question from Zhongli make everyone in the room checking whoever is next to them but none was Childe. They just shrugged having no clue where the ginger is except for Albedo.
"Aether-" he pushed Lumine away making his way back to the room where he left Aether and Xiao.
"This one will be good" Xiao held up a small shirt. The only one that is small enough to fit Aether. On his way out of the dressing room he sense footsteps running through the hallway outside the room.
Xiao immediately rushed out to the bed and he was right. Aether is gone. Could it be Albedo? Suddenly the door was pushed open and Albedo rushed in giving an unsettled look on his face. "Xiao. Where is he?"
Albedo question doesn't bother him at all. Right now Xiao is thinking how could he can sense Albedo footsteps meters away but not anyone in the same room as him. This persom can't be Aether, it has to be someone way more professional.
