The moonlight shine through the window lighting up the room a bit. He sit up slowly fixing his posture looking around the room before switching his eye to a figure next to him sleeping soundly. Smirking he lean to have a closer look of the red haired guy. Aether play with Diluc hair staring at the master satisfied but this time his eyes glow red.

"Seems like no one is here except for the staff. We sneak in for no reason.." Albedo explained while Xiao wonder around the room. They've checked every room using the vents but this is the only room that has Aether traces with like his clothes.

On the table they found an invitation letter to a ball with the location stated." It is most likely that they've went here. Let's not waste any more time"

(meanwhile)

"Tch this sucks" all of them Lumine, Zhongli, Childe and Kazuha are locked inanother room. They were shoved into the room dragged by a few guards with sir Kaeya. All the night in there for nothing since they lose their way to communicate with Aether.

They tried to fight back but for the sake of the ball they wish not to attract too much attention. Childe and Zhongli has been trying to break the window out of the room but it'd be another 10 years before they did so.

"Stop with your complaining Childe. I'm sure Aether will get us out" again Kazuha is the one who's first to be annoyed by Childe complaints. They give up and choose to sit and wait but of course Lumine feel uneasy with all of this hoping her brother is safe.

Not long after tge door opened revealing both sir Kaeta and master Diluc. "Diluc say we shall have breakfast and some talk" Kaeya greet them with a bright face literally the opposite of how Diluc acts.

(time skip)

Everyone sits around the table keeping the silence. None of them touched theur food yet except Diluc and Kaeya. Since no one wish to speak up first Lumine had to do it. "Wher-" she was about to question where were Aether but Diluc cut her off by asking first.

"Why did you brought him outside, you should know better before kidnapping Aether out of the building" Diluc switch his eye to Lumine mad serious about Aether. "That's why we're here. We need you to cooperate and tell us more you dipshit.. " crossing her arm cancelling her plan to ask for help properly.

Others dropped their jaw surprised with Lumine sudden moves but they should have known better that their boss could be sarcastic and such." Don't worry, i promised Aether. So ask me anything" Diluc proceed to enjoy his meal waiting to be attack by questions.

Lumine face gloom while the others stare waiting. "Why did they took Aether away from us" Kaeya take a glimpse at Diluc waiting for his turn to talk. Diluc seem to be serious as well. "Do you even know that the agency was never meant to keep Aether safe from the world but to keep the world safe from him.."

Right after Diluc finished his sentence the entire bulding shake as if something massive just hit the ground. Everyone stood up alert before one of the servant run in to inform master Diluc something had happen leading them out of the dining room.

Diluc was lead to Aether's room followed by the rest. Their running stop when they met a corner and there's Aether slowly walking out of the room. Everyone was stunned unsure of what to do.

There's tons of red thin tentacle growing out of Aether's back uncontrollably smashing everything around it. Aether was crying eyes glowing red. It seems like he's asking for help confused of what's happening.

He dropped to the ground on his knee wiping his tears. He can't walk to them any closer and neither can they approach him.

I heard Ayato is ikemen. Im on pity 73 rate off but I've lose 2 times in a row so im confident I'll win but my original plan is supposed to be winning Zhongli :<
