Today was Saturday, the day of the dinner with Heeseung.

Mimi was rummaging through my closet, helping me choose a dress. My twins and her twins were in the living room watching TV.

"This reminds me of our days back in college," Mimi said out of nowhere. "What do you mean?" I asked her.

"When you first decided to go to Heeseung's party, and I was helping you choose what to wear."

I frowned. "How do you remember that? That was like more than ten years ago." Mimi smiled. "I have a good memory. Here,"

She pulled out a red, long-sleeve dress that had specks of glitter. "This is the nicest dress you have in your closet." Then she lowered down a grabbed a pair of black heels. "Add these heels with it, and Heeseung will be head over heels for you. Get it?"

I rolled my eyes as Mimi laughed at her little joke. "Haha, very funny," I said sarcastically. "And for the last time, it's not a date. I'm just going out to eat with a friend."

"Yeah, but you're eating at a five-star restaurant that has a formal dress code! It's not like you're eating at McDonald's!"

"Again, I'm just eating with a friend. Not a big deal at all."

"Oh well," Mimi got up and walked to the door. "I'll let you change." she winked and walked out of the room, closing the door.

—————
"How do I look, Bud?"

"Hmmm," Riki tilted his head as he thought of his answer. Then he grinned. "You look like you're about to play golf, Daddy!" I was wearing a blue vest with a white long sleeve shirt. I also had on black slacks with black shoes.

I laughed. "I'll take that as a compliment. Let's go ahead and drop you at Uncle Jonghyun's. I don't want to be late!"

The boy nodded, and together we walked to the car. After five minutes of driving, I made it to Jonghyun's house. He was waiting for us at his front door. He waved when we walked to him.

"Ready to have some fun, Riki?" he asked. "Yes, please!" the boy said. Jonghyun looked at me and smirked. "Have fun on your date."

I glared at him. "It's not a date." I smiled at Riki. "Have fun,"

"You too, Daddy,"

I was nervously tapping my foot, anxiously waiting for Y/n to come. I had just arrived five minutes ago. A lot of stuff was going through my head.

What if she got sick?

What if she bailed out at the last minute?

What if she—

My thoughts were interrupted when I saw a certain girl walk in.

—————
I looked around the restaurant for Heeseung. Then I saw him, and we ended up making eye contact.

He gave me one of his bright smiles and waved. I smiled and nodded my head, walking to the table and wrapping myself with the black trench coat I was wearing.

"I knew you were going to come." Heeseung said, "You look so...amazing."

—————
Amazing.

Real smooth, Lee Heeesung.

You couldn't come up with a better word than that, huh?

—————
I blushed at his words. "Thank you, and you don't look too bad yourself."

Heeseung blushed as well. "T-thank you. Riki told me I look like I'm about to play golf."

I laughed. "Riki probably meant that as a compliment. But I'm serious, Heeseung, about you looking great."

"You look great as well. Wait, I said you look amazing already."

I laughed again, and he joined in. Then we both sat down and waited for the waiter so we could order our drinks.

—————
"Did you enjoy the dinner?" I asked. Y/n nodded. "Yes, I loved it. Thank you so much!"

"No problem,"

We walked to her car so we could say goodbye. But before she got in, Y/n stopped and turned to face me. "I truly enjoyed the dinner, Heeseung. I haven't been this happy since Jaeyun died. If you don't mind..."

She looked me in the eye.

"Can we do this every Saturday? I know we just started talking again a few weeks ago, so I understand if you don't want to—"

"Y/n," I grabbed her hands, and she stopped in her words. "I would love to continue eating with you on Saturday nights. We can do a different restaurant every week."

Y/n nodded. "I would love that. Thank you, Heeseung."

Then she did something out of the ordinary: she hugged me.

I was taken aback by surprise. Y/n and I hadn't hugged since the day I got arrested all those years ago. I wrapped my arms around her as well.

I didn't want it to end, for I wanted to stay in her embrace longer. Y/n released from the hug, and I playfully pouted. "See you next Saturday, Heeseung."

I beamed. "See you next Saturday, Y/n."

—————
When I got back home, the twins were both asleep in their beds. I lied and told them that I had an emergency session at work.

I didn't want them to find out about Heeseung yet.

My phone buzzed in my pocket, and I took it out. It was Mimi calling me. I gladly answered it. "Hello?"

"Y/n! Tell me all the details!" Mimi shouted in my ear. "We just had a great time talking and eating. I enjoyed the food, too." I explained.

"Anything special happened? Like any physical touching?" Mimi giggled.

"We just hugged. Not a big—"

"What do you mean it's not a big deal? Y/n, are you crazy or something?" That's a step closer to becoming a couple again!"

"Mimi, we're just friends."

"Who made the first move in the hug? I bet it was Heeseung."

"No, it was me..."

"Oh my—"

Before Mimi could finish screaming in my ear, I hung up the phone. I was too tired to continue the conversation.

As I went to sleep, I continued to think about Heeseung's tight and comfortable embrace around my body.

Argh, my heart!
