It was the first day that we were back, last night the girls wanted to stay over for me to tell them how my Christmas vacations went with Jay, but the truth is that I don’t want them to know what happened between me and him. I mean, probably the guys already know what happened, they are all so close and tell each other everything and is not that I don’t trust the girls is just that they are going to make a big deal out of it when in reality nothing can happen. Today is New Year’s Eve and for some reason I’m excited to celebrate it with this people I call my friends, my real friends. But as usual I’m scared, Jay told me not long ago that he always wanted to know how it felt to kiss someone at midnight is not that I don’t want to kiss him again but all our friends will be there and I won’t know what to do if it happens. Plus ever since the Christmas kiss I’ve been trying to avoid him not like a cold bitch but I know he knows is not the same. Good thing he acts like it never happened so that makes it easier I guess. My train of thought was interrupted by someone knocking on my front door. I walked up to there and opened the door to find one smiley Neesha, which meant only one thing. She Knew.

“Seev?” I asked her and you could see her blush just a little.

“Well, he is my boyfriend, we tell each other everything” She said walking inside the house.

“So, now what?” I asked her closing the door behind me.

“Well, now make me some lunch and we wait for the others and you can tell us the entire story” She said with this super big smile that I just resign and went to make lunch for all of us.

I didn’t have to wait long since they were coming later to change for tonight; they just came by four hours before schedule. We all sat down in the living room and I started to tell them all about the week I spend at the McGuiness house, except for the part when Maureen told me she knew who I really was. They were all excited for how the kiss happened that they were clapping and smiling which made my cheeks redder than a tomato. Once I finish we decide to go and change and do our hair and make-up for tonight and since I was helping them I was a bit late on my own hair and make-up. I was wearing a turquoise dress; it was really beautiful El helped me to pick it when we went shopping. It was a short dress that had a V cut and in the back had another one in the shape of a triangle, I had my white shoes that Neesha gave me as a Christmas gift. My hair was in messy waves and my make-up was almost minimal. Of course the only thing I was wearing as jewelry was my new bottle ring that I forgot to mention Jay gave me on Christmas. I heard a noise downstairs and I assumed the guys were already here. I stepped out of the bathroom and nobody was in my room.

“ALEX!” I heard Tom’s voice.

“Coming!” I yelled back.

I finish cleaning a bit my room, use a bit of my perfume and took my purse to go downstairs and meet my friends. While walking down I was checking if I had everything in my purse and when I was at the bottom I didn’t heard voices so I looked up and everyone was gaping. The look on their faces was weird I wanted to laugh I mean I knew I didn’t looked bad but the way they were looking made me feel a bit insecure.

“What’s wrong with you?” I asked and the first one to smile was Tom.

“You look stunning” He said hugging me and putting and arm around my shoulders. “Sorry Kelsey, I think I found someone else” He said and we all started to laugh.
