"HO, HO, HO-no." we heard the shouts from above and watched as a red and black sleigh flew overhead. In its hold was eight reindeer, lined row by room paired together. From atop the sleigh snow sprouted and began to cover the village. Frost blue hair emerged over the side as the snow kissed the ground.
"Jack Frost to the rescue with a gift for the Claus family!" he boasted, jumping down from the sleigh as it landed, leaving the small children in awe. He held over his shoulder a large burgundy bag, gold sprinkles of decoration covered it.
"Frost!" Nick and I jumped to our feet and rushed carefully past the children. It was good to see our friend.
"How did you know? How did you find the reindeer?" I raced over to the reindeer and embraced my girls one by one.
"They flew back home. When we saw them racing back we knew you needed our help." Frost granted, waving towards Holy. She joyfully waved back to the man she calls her uncle.
The doe in her arms jumped away and raced towards the reindeer, who accepted it wholeheartedly. We watched as it settled between the legs of two of the middle reindeer.
"What's in the bag Frost?" Nick inquired, signaling to the strange bag.
"Toys, a copious amount of toys, for all the children, all over the world." he rejoiced opening the large casuming bag to show us. Inside seemed to be packed with endless toys and trinkets. As I reached my arm in, I felt toys gravitate into my hand, as if choosing what child would get what. As I pulled the toys out they formed an outer layer, presenting themself as a mystery to the children. Perfectly wrapped gifts soon placed in front of the small children in seconds.
Soon the grounds were littered with wrapping paper and playful children running around with their toys. The ruckus brought parents out to admire the youthful glow of their children, joy coating their faces. the joy of all the children lightening their moods, replacing the harsh temperatures and community.
As the kids rushed to their parents, Nick and I slowly restocked our sleigh. Nion rushed to our aid and helped us pack up. Holy entertained the children as a young man with black auburn hair joined her. He looked around eleven or twelve in age.
By nightfall we had reloaded the sleigh, the festivities of the village had expanded ten fold. Children danced and played in between their parents legs as music boomed from the band. We had loaded the sleigh and watched from afar with Holy at our side. Nion and the other young boy seemed to be joyful in a dance, gripping at one another in turn of how eachother felt. I could tell they were in love, my gift was for them to be forever happy.
"Merry Christmas, and a happy new year." Nick mumbled to the townspeople as we flew back to our village.
