It was a normal day in Story Brooke. Alexa Lucas was running late for work at Granny's Diner because her sister Ruby 'turned off her alarm' when in reality she hit the snooze bottom nearly every time. She arrived at Granny's Diner to hear Granny and Ruby already arguing. "Oh for god sakes. WILL YOU TWO PACK IT IN ALREADY!!" Alexa screams at them from the counter as they were in the laundry room.
Alexa starts making herself coffee as she was in a rush this morning and can't think without it. As she makes it, Ammie walks into Granny's and walks up to the counter. "Excuse me?" Ammie says.
"One second." Alexa says. She takes a sip of her coffee and turns to Ammie. "How can I help ya?" Alexa asks her.
"I was wondering if you're hiering? I'm looking for a job but so far nun are available." Ammie says.
"Not really, but if I'm being honest. An extra hand wouldn't hurt. I just have to ask a thew questions."
"Sure ask me anything."
"Ok. What days are you able to work?"
"Monday to Friday. I don't mind working Saturdays either though."
"Do you not go to school?"
"I do. Will four be alright to start?"
"It's fine. That's when I start. Have I seen you before. Don't you sit in the corner of the dinner hall at lunch?"
"With no one around. Yep that's me. Wait I recognize you to. Yeah you're the one who's usually sitting outside the principles office when I bring him my classes registration." Ammie says. Alexa nods then smiles, picking up a small note pad.
"Well, I can't wait to work with you. You've got the job. You seem responsible. Granny needs that around here." Alexa and Ammie laugh. "Well let's properly introduce areselves. Alexa." Alexa says holding out her hand. Ammie shakes her hand.
"Ammie. Ammie Mills." Alexa's eyes widen a bit.
"Mills. As in Regina Mills. As in Mayor Mills. As in Mayor O'Mighty Mills?" Alexa asks.
"Yes. She my mum." Ammie says. Alexa is stunned at first but smile.
"Can't wait to be working with you. Ammie."
"You to. Alexa."
From that day on, Alexa and Ammie became best friends and their friendship only grew closer. Although they only met when they were 15, they feel like they knew each other for years.
