Regina and Ammie are at a diner (not Granny's cause it's not open yet) for a breakfast tradition. Every 17th day of every month, Ammie and Regina would have a mother and daughter day. "So, how's work?" Ammie asks while eating her pancakes and bacon.
"Fine. A bit busy, but that job of being the mayor." Regina tells her. "Has the school called yet?" Ammie shakes her head no and Regina sighs. "They should have. You're a good kid and had a clean record before this."
"Except the time I got suspended for punching Kimberly in the face multiple times and gave her that black eye." Ammie says.
"Ok, other than that." Regina agrees.
"And when I ran out of the school building and missed all my classes. And I lied to you, more than once." Ammie recalls.
"Wow. Are you sure you're Ammie? Or has Alexa entered your body the passes weeks." Regina asks causing both of them to giggle a little.
"No, it's the real me." Ammie tells her.
Regina takes a sip of her coffee and then asks, "How was the sleepover at Alexa's last night?"
Ammie hesitated for a second before answering, "Good. Yeah just, we had dinner at hers then stayed in our pjs, ate ice cream, popcorn and a bunch of snacks while watching friends and headed off to sleep."
"And her clothes that you're wearing?" Regina asks.
"I- um forgot to pick up clothes from the house." Ammie says.
"You do know I can tell when you're lying. What did you actually do last night?" Regina asks but Ammie don't answer. "Fine don't answer. Mr Gold had already told me about you and Emma searching around town all night looking for Mary Margret. Did anything happen?" Ammie's mouth opens slightly, shocked at the fact Mr Gold told her mother.
Ammie blinks a thew times before talking or stuttering, "I-I...we-we well, um..." Regina raises her eye-brow and Ammie sighs. "Emma almost hit a guy, he had a limp, we drove him home, helped him into his house, he gave us tea, I took a sip which felt off, texted Alexa my location, Emma drank her tea, got knocked out, the guy pointed a gun at me, locked me in a dark room, Emma found me, we found Mary Margret, the guy locked us in a room, took Emma to make a hat or something, me and Mary Margret got out of the room, Alexa turned up, started fighting the guy, I pushed him out of the window, me and Alexa went to hers and now we're here." Ammie rambles, still a nervous thing.
Regina looks at her and smiles at Ammie's honesty. "Well, you've had quite an adventure. But you're alright, right? Did you get hurt or anything?" Regina asks.
"No. I'm fine." Regina raises her eyebrow at Ammie. "Really."
"Was it 'really' something to get Henry to cover for you? He's 10 Ammie." Regina tells Ammie.
