"Stark why are you always late to your own meetings?" Steve Rogers complains as Tony Stark strolls into the meeting room. Removing the sunglasses from his face, Tony sinks into his seat, running his hand through his hair with a groan. 

"Yeah, yeah, I had something to take care of, it delayed me " 

"What was so much more important than planning our next mission into a new hydra base?" Steve stresses, his Captain America voice coming out, folding his arm in front of his chest. 

Tony groans, "Listen the kid got a black eye, Pepper lost her mind so I had to take her to the infirmary otherwise Pepper would have given me a black eye as well" 

The rest of the Avengers share a gland, 'the kid?' they all think, what child is in Tony and Pepper's life? 

"Stark what kid are you talking about? " Nat questions, crossing her legs that are propped up on the table. 

Stark waves. a hand at their question, "You know the kid? My intern?" Tony gives them all a confused look, "Have you not met her yet?" The group shakes their head, "I've never even heard you talk about this kid before Tony" Nat explains, "Do we get to meet her?" 

Tony shrugs, "Sure why not, I assume you all did already. After all she's here every day after school and most weekends. Fri?" 

"yes sir" 

"Can you tell the Kid to come to the conference room?" 

"Of course sir"

Steve grabs the projector remote, "while we wait lets get started on this mission planning."

A few minutes of planning later and a thud is heard against the door, before it flies open. In rushes a head full of messy curls, a teen no older than 16 crashes through the door. 

"I'm so sorry Mr. Stark, I got lost coming down and forgot to ask Miss Friday for help until I had already gotten stuck on another floor. And the Janitor needed help moving a crate to clean, and then the interns stopped me to ask me some questions and -"  

Penny freezes when she sees who all is in the room with her, Tony smirking from his seat as her mouth hangs open. 

"You good there Pen?" Tony chuckles, standing to usher her into the room. 

"y-yeah Mr. Stark, What am I doing here?" Penny chuckles nervously, being in a room with all her hero's does that to a girl. 

"It has come to my attention that you haven't met the other inhabitants of this tower, and considering you are staying here for the summer, it's probably well past time this introduction occurs." Tony explains, an arm thrown across Pennys shoulders. "Avengers, This is Penny Parker. Pen these are the Avengers." 

Shrugging his arm off with a laugh, "I know who the Avengers are Mr. Stark" Turning her attention to the other occupants of the room, "Hi, I'm Penny, I've been Mr. Starks intern for a few months now."

"Nice to meet you Penny" Steve speaks up first, offering his hand for a shake. "Good Grip" 

"Thanks Mr. Rogers, it's great to meet you as well." Steve lets out a deep laugh, "It's just Steve kid, no need to make me feel older than I am." 

"Good luck with that Capscile, she's known me longer and refuses to drop the 'Mr. Stark'." Tony whines, leaving Penny to be the smirking on now, "That because you are Mr. Stark, Mr Stark" Tony flops back into his seat groaning.
