Not A Goodbye

Today’s the day. My flight’s in two hours and Riley and I are in a cab to the airport. I said goodbye to the boys at the hotel. I didn’t want them to come with me to the airport, especially Louis. I don’t think I would be stable enough to go on the plane if any one of them came.

“I’m gonna miss you so much!” Riley said as she hugged me tightly. I was about to board the plane.

“I’m gonna miss you too” I hugged her back tightly. Water formed in my eyes and I couldn’t help myself but shed a few tears.

“Don’t cry; you’re gonna make me cry” Riley scolded as she let out a few tears.

I shook my head and laughed a little. “I’ll miss you Riley”

“I’ll miss you Jas”

I turned around and gave the lady my ticket to board the plane, but before I walked in, a yell stopped me.

“JAS!” I turned around and noticed Louis running towards me with a  bouquet of red roses and candy.

“Louis!” I scolded. “You weren’t supposed to be here” Tears fell down my cheeks.

“I couldn’t just leave you Jas” He handed me the flowers and chocolate.

“I don’t think I can take this Lou”

“And why not?”

I chuckled.

“You’re so weird” I said.

“I love you” He leaned in and our foreheads were touching.

“I love you”

“Don’t forget me”

“I don’t think I can ever forget you”

“You’re mine”

“I’m yours”

“Forever”

“”And ever”

“I’ll miss you Louis” I said as a tear fell away.

“I’ll miss you Jas” He wiped the tear away.

“Goodbye Louis”

“No; this isn’t goodbye. Goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting”

I giggled. "Fine, this isn’t goodbye”

He shook his head and kissed me one last time before sending me away.

“I love you Jasmine”

“I love you Louis”
