A high-pitched scream could be heard through the sixth year Slytherin Girl's Dormitories. Melody's voice was hoarse and shaking.

"NO! PLEASE! STOP IT, NO!"

Several of the other girls were waking from their slumber, wondering what was going on.

"ME, NOT HER! I BEG OF YOU!"

Melody was sweating and rolling around carelessly in her sleep.

"What the hell is going on?" Tracey Davis, the Slytherin who slept in the bed to the left of Melody, asked, clearly not happy about being woken up in the middle of the night.

"I think she's having a nightmare."Millicent Bulstrode, another girl in the dorm, said, walking closer to Melody, shaking her lightly.

"Who is having a nightmare?" Pansy Parkinson asked, sitting herself up on her bed.

"The American girl, Melody, isn't it?" Millicent said, still attempting to wake her.

"Please stop! STOP!" Melody screeched, tears rolling down her cheek, while she clutched her duvet.

"Melody? Melody! MELODY?" Millicent was now clutching Melody's shoulder and her knee, shaking her roughly. Her breathing slowed down, and she opened her eyes carefully, tears still flowing from her eyes. She pulled herself into a sitting position, and stared at the others, realising that she had been screaming in her sleep.

"I'm really sorry about that, please return to sleep. I apologize for the disturbance." Melody said, feeling really uncomfortable.

They looked at her oddly for a moment, before they went back to their beds, shaking their heads.

Melody waited until she was sure that they were asleep, before she rose from the bed, and got dressed in a green lace top, a white button skirt, black flats and a long black robe labeled Slytherin, not wanting to sleep, because she knew that another horrid nightmare was definite. She turned her head to the nightstand, and the clock read 05:27.

She pondered for a moment, deciding to wait in the common room until breakfast was being served.

The room was dimly lit, with candles placed on a few of the tables. It wasn't until she had rolled up on the corner of one of the couches by the fireplace, that she noticed someone asleep on the other one.

It was a boy her age, with platinum blond hair, sharp features and pale skin, dressed in his Slytherin robes. She recognized him as the one she had sat next to during dinner, the one who had insulted Nico.

Melody sat there, staring at the stranger for what felt like hours until she heard someone descending the staircase. The footsteps came closer until she heard a familiar voice ask,

"Nightmare?"

"Yes, the Sorting Hat triggered a few memories." Melody turned, and watched as Nico sat down in the other corner of the couch she was curled up in.

"Which ones?" Nico asked carefully, unsure if it was an appropriate question.

"Mom, actually everything that happened before I came to camp. How about you?"

"Tartarus." Nico said, turning to the fire, suddenly feeling very uncomfortable about the topic of discussion.

They sat in silence for a while until the boy with with the platinum hair started stirring, after a while he sat up, and looked at them as if he had been caught doing something horrible.

"Good morning!" Melody said sarcastically, looking at the stranger.

"What the hell are you doing here? How long have you been sitting there?" He asked, outraged.
