Stranger Danger. (A Percy Jackson and Harry Potter crossover)

Chapter #1: A new quest

3rd POV

Annabeth Chase ran her hand through her long, blonde hair as she walked up to the Poseidon cabin, Chiron had asked her to get Percy, Melody, Connor, Travis and Nico, as he had a quest for the six of them.

"Percy?" She yelled, as she opened the door of the cabin.

"Yes, dear Annabeth?" He said in a joking tone, as he walked up to her.

They both giggled, before kissing each other, rather passionately.

"Get a room, lovebirds, I'm in here too!" Percy's half-sister, Melody screamed. "Was there an important reason you came for a visit, or are you just here to make out with my brother?"

"Lovely to see you too, Mel." Annabeth smiled. "I came here because Chiron has a new quest for us. He wants us to meet him in The Big House, now."

The three of them smiled at each other before they ran out to see Chiron.

When they arrived, Nico, Travis and Connor were already there, and seemed very keen to find out what the quest was.

"I'm sure you're all very excited to hear what the quest is, however it is not similar to other 'missions' I've sent you on." Chiron began. "You will be attending a special scool, to study a species we now very little about. Wizards."

The six young adults sat dumbfounded looking at him.

"W-wizard?" Percy questioned, clearly not quite sure if Chiron was being serious or not.

"Yes, Percy. Wizards." Chiron grinned.

"You will be attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and will be entering the 6th year. Here is a booklet of the most important things you need to know, and have." He handed them a medium sized booklet. "Here is the key to you bank vault." He handed them a small golden key. " And your train tickets to the school." He handed them six envelopes with each of their names on them. "And the boat you will use to get to London is down by the sea, ready to be used."

"This is alot to take in at once, we haven't even accepted the quest yet." Melody stated.

"Well, do you all accept the quest?" He questioned.

"Obviously!" They all said at the same time.

"Good." Chiron answered.

"Hang on, did you say that 'the boat you will use to get to 'London'?" Annabeth asked.

"Yes, did I not mention?" He looked at them all. "The school is in Scotland, and you leave in two hours."

The one and only Harry James Potter had just finished packing his trunk, and was now closing it. He was leaving for hogwarts the next morning, and had packed early because he couldn't wait to get out of the Dursley house.

Just as he turned and looked out of the window, he saw Hedwig flying in with a letter. He had recently sent one to Hermione, and this one was probably her response.

He opened the window, took the letter from Hedwig's beak, gave her a snack and opened it.

Dear Harry,

Thank you so much for your letter, it is really appreciated.

To answer to your question, yes, I am staying at Hogwarts for Christmas this year.

Now over to something more interesting, I heard that six new students are entering the sixth year, just as we are.

I do not now much about the case, but there are a few rumours saying that they are american orphans. What do you think of it?

Hmm, Harry thought, it's not often new students enter the school from a higher grade. Wonder what that'll be like.

He spent the night imagining what might happen this year, and what the americans might be like. However eventually, he fell asleep.

The next morning he hurried out the door, catching a train to London, Once there he made his way through The Leaky Cauldron, at around nine AM, and into Diagon Alley, where he met with his two best friends, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley.

Not long after, they hurried to King's Cross station, to catch the Hogwarts express.

(Meanwhile, somewhere in the North Atlantic Ocean)

"This is the worst boat ride I have ever been on!" Annabeth screeched.

They were all in a small boat, being steered by both Percy and Melody. It was around 1 AM New York time, meaning it was about six AM in London.

" How long 'til we arrive?" Travis questioned. "I'm getting really nauseos!"

"Hang in there, buddy!" Percy screamed.

"We'll be there in about twenty minutes, this went pretty quick if you ask me!" Melody finished.

"You are both more powerful than you think!" Nico yelled.

"I guess we are!" Percy and Melody yelled back at the same time.

Twenty minutes later they were slowing down, and were rowing through the river Thames. They got alot of odd looks from people on land, as they were six teenagers in a small orange boat, all looking very sick and tired.

Chiron had written directions as to where to go, and about fourty minutes later the six friends entered a small, odd looking bar named 'The Leaky Cauldron'.

"Excuse me?" Melody asked, as she approached the counter, where an old man sat.

"Yes m'dear, 'ow can I help ya?" He questioned, looking curiously at her and her friends.

"Could you show us where Diagon Alley is?" She loudly asked him.

"Shhh!" He whispered. "Are ya crazy? Theres a whole bunch a muggles in 'ere!"

The group looked oddly at the man.

"Muggles?" Connor questioned.

"Yes, muggles! But o'course I'll show ya where it is, follow meh." The old man came out from behind the counter, and asked them to follow him.

They walked to the back room of the shop, and the man tapped a pattern into the brick wall with a stick and the wall moved, turning into an opening. On the other side was a long street, filled with shops, and people dressed in odd looking robes.

"Welcome, to Diagon Alley!" The man pushed the americans through the opening, and soon enough, the wall closed again.

"So this is what the Wizarding World looks like." Nico stated, as they started walking down the alley.

"Chiron gave us a list of all the things we need to buy, including wands." Annabeth stated.

"Wands? We can't perform the same magic Wizards and Witches can." Percy said to Annabeth.

"We're just going to have to pretend we can." His sister answered him.

"Let's get started!" The Stoll brothers yelled, as they ran in opposite directions.

This is going to take a while, Nico thought.

How did you like the first chapter? I really hope it was OK, this is the first fanfiction I have ever written...

Just a heads up, I am not sure of the Demigod's ages, so let's just say that Annabeth, Percy, Connor and Travis are all 16 (I know they are supposed to be around 14, but let's just say they're 16). Nico is around 80, but looks 16 and Melody is 15, but joins the others in the 6th year.
