Also I got my 2nd Covid shot today. It hurt way more than the other one but still didn't hurt too bad in general I guess

Ashleigh awoke to a cold breeze tickling her face. Propping herself up on her left elbow, she reached for her phone which was sitting on the bedside table and checked the time. 6:47am. She moaned and sat up, dangling her feet over the side of the bed. Its too early for this... she thought to herself as she stood up and walked over to the window to close it. However, when she looked outside, she realised something. Instead of seeing the lush green and yellow scenery outside, instead she saw complete white-ness covering the surrounding land below their apartment as well as the buildings around.

Running back over to the bedside table, she grabbed her glasses and jumped on the bed next to her sleeping boyfriend and began shaking him. "Hayden! Hayden get up! C'mon its snowing outside!" She whisper yelled in his ear. Sure Hayden liked the cold, but he hated getting up early.

"Nooo... Ash its too earlyyy..." He complained, rolling over and pulling up the covers tighter around him. Ashleigh sat back on the bed and frowned.

"Alright then. You asked for it" She warned, and jumped off the bed and went around to where one of Hayden's feet were sticking out from under the thick doona and grabbed his ankle, practically pulling him off the bed. Hayden just moaned lazily as he was being literally dragged out of bed. He just lay there on the floor, half asleep. Ashleigh groaned in annoyance and sat on him, picking her nails.

"Aaash... Get oooooff..." He moaned lazily once again.

"Im not getting off until you get up" She said, concentrating on her nails. "Damn I need to get these done again..." She mumbled to herself.

"Toothlesssssss... help meeee..." He complained, looking over at the fluffy black dog that was curled up in his dog bed. Toothless just rolled his eyes and trotted over, however instead of helping H up, he began licking his face.

"Alright alright I'll get up" Hayden finally surrendered, wiping the slobber off his face as best he could. Ashleigh smiled at the result.

"Good boy Toothless" She exclaimed, patting the gentle dog on the head, ruffling up his shaggy fur. Quickly, Ashleigh got changed out of her PJ's into a long sleeved shirt and leggings, which were then covered up by a knitted jumper, tight jeans and a snow coat jacket thingy(Doesnt snow where I live so idrk what u wear in snow). "Ready to go?" She asked as she fumbled for the keys in her handbag.

"Yep. You coming Toothless?" Hayden replied, turning to his dog, who had already managed to clip the lead onto his collar and was holding the rest of it in his mouth at Hayden's feet. He chuckled and grabbed the end of the lead as they headed out the door, only just remembering their beanies on the way out.

Ashleigh and Hayden ran through the park that was covered from head to toe in snow. They had built snowmen, played fetch with Toothless, bumped into some old friends, snowball fights, and even tried catching snowflakes with their tongues(and failing).

Hayden swore he had never seen Ashleigh happier than when it snowed. From behind a tree, Harper called Toothless over for something. "Here, take this" She said, holding out a particular plant. Toothless nodded in agreement before taking one end of the plant in his mouth and trotting back over to where the two lovebirds were dusting themselves off from making snow angels in the cold white fluff.

"*bark*" Toothless yelped to get the others attention. He had climbed on top of one of the snowmen and as a result was just taller than the two, who looked up at the mistletoe that was being held in his mouth.

"Where'd he even get that from?" Ashleigh chuckled, looking up at the dog who barked again impatiently, making them laugh. The two smiled at each other before leaning in and sharing a deep kiss. As they broke apart, Ashleigh could see Harper out of the corner of her eye peeking out from behind a tree. She rolled her eyes playfully. Should have known.

So this was my very first ever modern httyd/hiccstrid oneshot andddddd... I hope u enjoyed! Ik its pretty short for one of my chapters but Im rlly happy with how it turned out!
