The Next Step: 6 Years On

He's just too good......

Today is Australia Day! we all decided to go down the the park across the road and have a BBQ and try out all the different australian foods. it should be so much fun.

We get up and get ready and walk across the road. Trevor and Isaac go to this shopping place called Woolworth's which is about 10 minutes from here to by some Aussie food like:
- Sausages
- prawns
- vegemite (for Riley)
- kebabs
And other foods.
I'm sittings with vic while james and Maddie are asleep in their prams while Riley is on the swing set right cross from us having a ball.
"So what's up B? It feels like I haven't actually had some girl time with you yet! it's good to finally chat!" vic says
"Yeah I know. i always live spending time with you but we have been so busy over the past weeks I haven't even had a chance to catch up properly with you."
"How is going with Trevor?" she asks
"OH my god amazingly well. he is just the best father and I am so lucky to have him. he loves James and Riley and I can see him and James becoming well known father and son couples when he's older. I think cause he finally has a son of his own he's happy. i mean he adores riley so much- she daddy's little girl but I think to have a little boy is special too. how is Isaac?" I ask
"That's good. trevor does make a great father- you guys make such cute parents. Isaac and I are great. he always offers to be the one who gets up in the middle of the night and either changes or feeds Maddie or gets her back to sleep. he's just always so kind and gentle and always willing to help. I think the two of them share some very special fathering qualities between them Brit. they would make a great Daddy Day Care!!! Ha ha!"
"Ha ha. yeah they would actually. they are both great with kids. did you hear about the reunion?"
"Oh my god yes. I forgot to discuss it with you the other day. isn't it amazing??? it'll be so good to say the cast all over again and go back to acting with them. poor jennie though like I mean she'll be quite heavily pregnant by then and she always wanted to do the reunion."vic says
"Yeah it's such a shame. but when you're pregnant sometimes you have I suffer those consequences but its totally worth it!!" I say back.

By then he boys had come back with lunch and we ended up having a prawn and salad roll and riley had a vegemite sandwich. we also had lemonade and pavlova for desert which I found particularly interesting but delicious!!!

We headed back to the hotel and freshened up a bit before snuggling up as a family and watching a movie- well just trevor, riles and I because James was asleep. we end up watching frozen 3 as it is Riley's favourite movie of all time but trevor and I are sleeping the entire movie as we aren't that interested.

It's funny though because every now and then I am woken up by this singing or excited voice knowing that it was Riley's favourite part. I press record on my phone as she is is dancing to 'Let it Go' a song from the original movie and she is just having the time of her life.

"So riles hey- do you think you'll be a dancer??" I ask
"I think so mummy. it's so fun!!!!" she Says."
"I can tell sweetie."
"So can I and I can also tell that you are falling asleep so I think it's time for miss Elsa to go to bed now." Trevor said jokingly
"Ha ha ha Daddy. ok. I am very tired since I had a big but wonderful day." She said
"Well thankyou for coming sweetheart it was good to see you having such a wonderful time!! goodnight Princess" I say giving her a kiss on the cheek and a hug belfry Trevor out her to bed.

i switch the channel and find nothing on so I turn the tv off and decide to snuggle In bed and talk with trevor instead. I can't wait for tomorrow. we are thinking of having a the next step marathon day as it is supposed k be really wet and rainy. it also is our last day too. I don't want to leave Australia. its just too perfect......
