You and I but never us.

"I am always here-behind you, supporting you in everything. Always rooting for you, my dearest." The man uttered as he cupped the woman's face, wiping the tears that won't stop from rushing down. 

"Hey Mandy, look at me." The man slowly held her chin making her look at him. "Please don't do this to yourself...please..." The man said while preventing himself from crying but the woman just can't take it anymore. She is hurting.

"You are right." The woman uttered nonchalantly. "You are always behind me... and never beside me. Bakit Chris, bakit?" Mandy still remained calmed or should I say Mandy looked calm hindi dahil kalmado talaga siya kung hindi dahil ubos na siya. Ubos na ubos na siya.

"Chris...Bakit? Bakit kaibigan mo lang ako? Mahal kita, Chris, I am always here for you" Mandy chuckled as tears fell down her eyes. "Mas inuna kita kaysa sa sarili ko, may assignment ka—go, I'm willing not to sleep para lang matulungan ka sa mga lecheng assignment na iyan! May gig kayo ng mga kabanda mo, ayun si ako—the ever supportive girlbestfriend mo na willing mapuyat at malate sa major subject niya kinabukasan masamahan ka lang sa lintik na passion na iyan!" Chris embraced her. He never knew that she felt like this.

The lines thrown by the lead characters of the movie they are watching were like their untold story. Best friends, boy and girl, unsaid feelings.

"Huy Xyle!" I said while waving my hands on his face. Lalim naman ng iniisip nito, nakakalunod.

He then was back to the world after few minutes of being drowned in his thoughts. "Cy naman!" He ranted  while removing my hands that is squeezing his chubby cheeks.

"Eh napakalalim kasi ng iniisip mo! Malapit ko na talagang isipin na nakakarelate ka sa pinapanood natin." And that's when I realized what I said. "oh my—shocks ha, Hebreo huy! Di tayo talo ha!" I jokingly said and laughed with the thought.

He didn't even bother to react. He just left me here in the living room.

"Hay nako, konti na lang talaga iisipin ko na may gusto ka sa akin!" Dirediretso lang ako sa pagsunod sa kaniya papuntang kitchen at tuloy tuloy lang din ako sa  pang-aasar sa kaniya.

He suddenly stopped and faced me which literally made me shocked. Ang lapit. "What if—Oo, gusto kita Cy..." He confidently uttered it while his eyes are fixed on mine. "Paano kung gusto nga kita..." Then he moved closer to me. I take a step backward as he made a step forward making our distance more closer. "Paano kung mahal na pala kita?..." Then he is eyeing my lips now. I can feel his warm minty breath. "gugustuhin mo rin ba ako or better, mamahalin mo rin ba ako?"

"Tatay! tatay!!" A shout interrupted us. Thank God for bringing Czar into our lives—My life savior.

"Tata—omg!! Mama Cy, you're here na pala!" She run towards me and just past by his Dad.

"I miss you so much mama!" She even hugged me, akala mo talaga mga labing walong taon na hindi nagkita. "Mama kasi you never come na here regularly, dati naman halos everyday you are here..." I felt how the energetic Czar shifted into the emotional Czar, she even pouted.

"aww crybaby parin ang baby damulag namin." I jokingly said as I pinched her nose. "You know naman na, na busy lang talaga ako sa cafe pero promise babawi ako, hmm okay?" I hope my convincing power were enough for her to understand me. I eyed Xyle, signalling to help me tame her daughter.
