Hindi man natin gustuhin minsan but promises are really meant to be broken. I knew I promised that I'll spend the whole saturday with them but work is work—Emergency meeting, for our event tomorrow.

Earlier we're enjoying our luscious breakfast then afterwards we decided to have a day movie marathon but in the middle of enjoying the first of episode of the series we set to watch, a call from CC's interrupted our movie day which was this urgent meeting.

"Naayos ko na yung damit mo, Love." Cy uttered and pointed at the clothes neatly placed on her bed.

"Thank you, Choy." I quickly grab the clothes and went back to the comfort room to get dressed.

Wala na si Cy sa kwarto paglabas ko ng comfort room, baka bumalik na sa sala para samahan si Czar na ituloy ang movie marathon.

Downstairs. I saw them, clinging unto each other—maybe because they're enjoying what's being played on screen and I was too late notice that they've already changed the movie into a korean drama already.

"Hmmm kaya naman pala..." Panimula ko ng makalapit ako sa may sofa pero ni hindi man lamang ako nilingon ng dalawa. "Ah ganon? Tutok na tutok kayo diyan ah." I teased and tickle their sides.

"Ihh tatay stop!"
"Xyle, isa ha!" Sabay nilang aniya habang ang pareho nilang mga kamay ay pumipigil sa aking kamay.

"Okay, okay talo na ako..." Then slowly they untangled their hands on mine and threw their full attention on screen again. Nakakatampo pero nakakatampo din naman na napako ako sa pangako ko.

"Pause it first, aalis na ako oh." I said in the cutest way I can but walang talab, tinawanan pa ako.

"Tatay, hindi bagay sayo maging pabebe! Ang cringe!!" Czar flinched while Cy kept on laughing. Napagkaisahan pa nga.

Akmang tatayo na sana ako para umalis na but Cy was fast enough to hold my arms. "Tampo na ang bebe boy na yan." She said in a tone as if she is talking to a toddler. Buntong hininga at napapikit na lamang ako.

Though chuckling, Cy closed the gap space between us as she caged me in her arms. "Happy father's day, love! Huwag ka ng mag-alala, naiintindihan namin —it's work plus hindi lang naman bukas o ngayon ang special na araw mo bilang isang ama...pwede namang araw araw father's day eh." She narrated while still hugging me.

"Oo nga tatay, we have all the days of the year to spend it with you, we can make araw araw a father's day naman." Czar winked and joined our hug.

Family hug.

Thank God for giving me the most understanding humans.

Caged in each other's arms, I closedly look at my wristwatch—gusto ko pa man na manatili pero may naghihintay pa na trabaho sa akin. "Ang sarap naman, pwede ba na dito na lang ako?" They chuckled and cut loose our hug.

Pabiro naman akong kinurot ni Cy sa tagiliran. "Ay nako choy, ikaw na nga ang nagsabi diba? Work is work kaya go go go!" Agad naman akong napatayo ng kunwari nila akong itaboy.

"Okay, fine!" Surrendered, I kissed them goodbye first before finally taking my way out. "Bye tatay!"

"Bye, lover! Mag ingat ka. Text me when you get there, I love you!"
