Rosalinda's POV
~A week later~
The past week has been really stressful.
Me and Micheal are constantly fighting, and trainings with the Moon King are tiring me out even more. I still haven't told Micheal about my trainings or about the Moon King either.
He's still acting like a little brat. The only times we talk is either when we have to take care of Bianca or when we are trying to make up, but end up fighting all over again.
"Come on Rosalinda! We have to go." Said Jake.
I nodded.
Oh and Jake had found his mate. Her name is Jessica. But for some strange reason, I don't like her. But I put up with her because of Jake.
Right now me and Jake were walking through the forest to go to my trainings with The Moon King.
I'm getting better with my powers and the Moon King has given me more powers like the ability to levitate things, which is harder than you think. I only do good in my trainings when I give 110%. After trainings, I'll have a huge headache because the Moon King and Jake push me to levitate things with just my mind.
"Hey Jake. How long are we going to keep doing this?" I asked him while resting my head on his shoulder.
"As long as we have to my princess." He replied.
I sighed loudly.
People are getting really suspicious of me and Jake, because they've noticed that we're always gone at the same time.
I don't get why they would care. They know that I'm Alpha and he's my Beta. At times, they have business to attend to together.
"I don't know what I would do without you Jake. I've been really stressed out. And having to sneak out everyday gets tiring. I don't like lying to Micheal. And I hate how I'm having to have you lie to your mate." I told him honestly.
He looked down at me,
"Rosalinda, I'm just as stressed as you are. I hate having to lie to our mates, but it's for the better. We have to keep doing this. If we tell them now, they'll be even madder. Eventually, we'll tell them the truth about us."
"I know, I know. But it's just that everyone is getting suspicious and we can't have anyone finding out about us. If they did, I don't know what I would do." I said
He kissed my forehead.
"Don't worry about anything. We got everything under control. No one will find out. I promise" he said while holding out his pinkie finger.
I grabbed his finger with my pinkie and kissed it.
We always do that when we make promises. It's like best friend code or something. I don't know, I just know that, that is what me and Jake do all the time.
With Jake, I can be myself. He's seen me at my best and at my worst. He knows all of my secrets, and vice versa. He knows things that I haven't told Micheal.
I know that Micheal should know all my secrets, but for some reason, me and Jake have always been closer. He's like my big brother; better than that jackass Danny.
I remember how we used to always play pranks on each other when I first joined the pack.
We would act like little 5 year olds. I swear my life would be boring without him.
"Hey Jake, remember the time when I put like 20 bunnies in your room while you were sleeping?" I asked him.
He smiled.
