Chapter 10: 'Real' Invasion

- Y/N POV -

Once I was finally ready, I made my way to work. I have three hours left of work until I can go back home. I told Ava, Ashly, and Elmira about my dream -- recently Elmira started to work with Ava, Ashly, and me at Starbucks --, but they didn't believe me. Although it does make sense, a big portal appearing out of the sky and monsters coming out of the sky and destroying everything seems like a weird dream but it felt so real. But we did agree that the stranger coming close to me and saying 'Hello... Pet,' is the weirdest and scariest part of the 'dream'.

I noticed that there was a big portal appearing in the middle of the sky. It was just like in my dream, but instead of going to the park, I'm at work, "All employees, please evacuate Starbucks," So we did, in a big group though.

"Ha, I told you that it was not a dream!" I told/yelled at my friends, "I was right!... I was right... Oh no, I was right?!?" Every time I said, I noticed that that is not a good sign. "Guys... go to the building over there," I said while pointing to a building that did not get destroyed in my dream, I ran in the other direction which ended up being a dead end.

I turned around and saw the monsters coming out of the portal more clearly, as they destroyed everything in their way. As people ran around some in groups of families while others are just running around trying to save themselves. I watched a small flying ship with a person on it, just like in my dream, he noticed me and started making his way over to me.

As he kept getting closer and closer, I could see more and more of him and his features, the horned helmet, green armour, and most importantly the devilish smirk. He is the one leading the invasion, there is no doubt about that. Just like in the dream, he looked down at me and smirked. I started to back away until I felt something hit hard against my back, I looked behind me for a second and saw that it was a wall.

His smirk was now devilish and evil, then he came closer on his ship. Once he was in front of me, he slowly dismounted his ship and made his way over to me. When his face was inches away from mine, his smirk grew and he said, "Hello... Pet," I gulped and smashed my body into the wall.

"H-hi," I whispered, for some reason, I can only whisper at the moment. What the FUCK is going on!?! How do I always get myself into weird situations?!? I-is h-h-he the...

"The intruder? Yes, I am. I told you to be prepared, pet," He said, I looked down and saw that his left hand was lightly running over the right side of my body while his right hand was holding a shinny stick.

I looked back up at his face and I could feel his breath against my skin, I remember when I first thought that his breath was warm. Nope, it's cold. Oh ya, I thought that his breath was warm because I was standing next to the open fridge. I thought to myself. Well, at least I know that his breath is cold.

"Loki, lower your weapon and step away from the civilian," I heard a voice say, he turned around but he was still too close that if I tried to escape he could grab me easily. "Now, step away," The voice said, the voice sounded a lot like Natalie's voice. But he didn't move, he didn't even move a muscle.

I heard a loud thud, then another voice, "Brother, she's just an innocent person," This voice was more masculine.

"Oh, but brother, I didn't do anything," Loki said, WAIT A MINUTE!!! What's going on? How did I end up in this situation? Why did I get to experience this weird situation?

"Loki, step away or I will throw Mjolnir at you," Thor said

"You might hurt my pet, you oaf," Loki said

"Well if you step out of the way, she will not get hurt," Thor compromised

"THOR, that is too risky," I heard another voice say, I pocked my head to the said and saw all of the Avengers standing in front of the exit of the ally. That voice was Captain America's voice.

Can you hear me?

Of course, I can.

Then please move, I wanna get out of this situation.

With that, he stepped out of the way and I could see all of the Avengers, lined up. I gulped, "Brother, come here," Thor said

"Alright," Loki said, walking towards Thor. Thor grabbed his arm and took him away, he swung Mjolnir and then they flew towards Avengers tower. Iron Man made his way over to me with a smile on his face.

"Hey, kid," He started, putting an arm around me with a smile on his face and we slowly walked towards the Avenger's tower, "But we need to interrogate you," He finished, I nodded and we made our way to their tower.
