Unseen (Loki x Reader)

Chapter 23: Sooner Rather Than Later

- Y/N POV -

 "Loki! You dummy, you could have gotten caught!" I turn and push him, glaring at the God before me. "You could have gotten me caught!" I gasp, eyes widening in shock, hands moving to hide my mouth as I gasp, "how could I have not seen it before?"

 "Well, honestly darling, I expected you to figure it out much before you almost get caught, that you could get caught. Now, what time were you hoping to leave? Any time works for me, although, I'd prefer it be sooner rather than later." Loki smugly took my wrist and pulled me against him.

 "Well, if we are leaving, where would we be going? And wouldn't I get in trouble if I left with you?" I inquired, Loki shrugged, a smug smile on his face.

 "Lady Y/n, have you seen-" Thor calls, I turn around when I hear the door open, it hits the wall behind it and I jump at the noise. "Loki?" He exclaims, my eyes widen and I slowly back up, "how did you get out of the cell?" He then turns to be, "Lady Y/n, why is he out of his cell, and in your chambers?"

 My legs slowly move backwards until my legs hit the edge of the bed, and my breath quickens, my eyes darting around the room as I try to figure out a way to get out of this situation.

 "I- uh- he-" Loki looks at me with worried eyes, before hiding that emotion and smirking evilly.

 "I escaped from your wretched cell, teleporting to this mortal's chambers, now if you'll excuse me I was about to kidnap her. So if you don't mind-" Loki motions for the door, Thor's eyes widen with shock, believing Loki's lies.

 "Jarvis, warn the team Loki has escaped his cell."

 "Already done, Mr. Odinson, anything else?" Jarvis asked, Thor glares at his brother.

 "How soon were you planning? And would now work?" I asked, my eyes making their way towards Loki, he nodded and jumps towards me, teleporting us from my room to an unknown place. Closing my eyes from the anticipation of hitting the ground,  but when it never came, I slowly open my eyes.

 "Loki?" I asked, he smiles softly at me, "where are we?"

 "My base," Loki answers, pulling me back onto my feet, I let out a loud sigh, letting my eyes roam the room, it's a little dark so I can't see all the details of my surroundings. "Follow me, and keep up," Loki tells, I nod and we start walking down the hallway.

 We continue to walk until we hit the end of the hallway, we passed many doors and windows, along with passing many scientists but one thing I noticed about them all is that their eyes are glowing bright blue. Everytime I turned to look at what they were doing, Loki seems to have noticed and grabs the top of my head, turning it back to face forwards, reassuring me that I don't have to worry about what they are working on, smiling as he mutters this to me.

 Loki opens the door and motions for me to enter, slowly walking forwards, he places a hand on my tailbone. Looking around the room, I see a large bed with forest-green sheets and pillows, a desk with books splattered across it, some open while others are closed, there's a large rug on the ground with Loki's helmet, the rug feels so soft against my feet.

 Sighing, I take out my phone and look at the time, 11:23am, it said. My body now feels ten times more tired, yawning, I look over to Loki and see him smirking down at me when he says how tired I am. Loki magically changes my clothes into dark green pajama shirt, I look down and see I'm not wearing bottoms, I look back up at Loki, my eyes wide as he smirks smugly down at me.

 "Loki?" I call, my eyes showing worry, "did you at least let me keep my underwear?"

 "Unfortunately, I have," Loki shrugs, "I'm sorry to say," Loki smirks, striding towards me, tilting his head as his smirk grows.

 "Where c-" I yawn, stretching my arms above my head, jut then remembering how I'm not wearing pants. Quickly pulling the shirt back down, my face flushing to a dark red, "can I sleep in the bed?"

 "Yes, little pet," Loki purrs, his soothing voice luring me to the bed, he walks over and sits on the bed and motions for me to join him.
