Aizawa didn't notice that it was almost 4 a.m, the sun was starting to rise and the sound of the car's engine and the sound of the radio almost made him fall asleep -God he was so tired, he had been awake for almost 24 hours- why is he doing this to himself? He didn't know. But he had to focus and stay awake because of the problem, two problems actually- sitting on the backseat.

A sigh escaped from him as he turned to the two kids in the backseat, they looked so innocent as if their older selves didn't do anything. Hawks had fallen asleep after trying to stay awake, he was sort of cuddling with Dabi's unconscious body - he still didn't know if these two knew each other while they were young or not - because Hawks had been overprotective of Dabi (refusing anyone to touch him except Aizawa.)

But what really drew Aizawa's attention was the bruises that littered Hawks' arms and face and the burns and bruises on Dabi's body. Also, there is the question of Dabi being unconscious while Hawks wasn't - if they were hit with the same quirk, it would have the same effect right?

God, he really wanted to kill whoever did this to these kids - but he knew he couldn't because it was in the past. Maybe sue them now, he didn't know, but he will try to find whoever did this to them- he suspected that the commission was in Hawks' case. As for Dabi, they didn't know anything about him - he had suddenly appeared, they didn't even know his true name.

Maybe he could get the information they needed from the kid? The thought almost made him feel guilty because like this he would manipulate an innocent child - but what can they do?

"Are they really Dabi and Hawks?" Hizashi's question snapped him from his thoughts, making him roll his eyes. His fellow teacher and hero asked the same question like a million times.

"Yes, Hizashi." the tired man sighed, he really should sleep after all this - dealing with the villains wasn't an easy cake and the kids made him emotionally exhausted, dealing with an angry Hawks as an adult was tough, now have to deal with a small angry Hawks, nevertheless a panicked, very early manipulated one, was rather difficult.

"Then what was Hawks doing with Dabi?" It was the same question that kept replying in Aizawa's mind - if Hawks really is a traitor, then this whole situation would get nasty very quickly.

"That's what I hope to figure out, I need to check some things with his agency" Aizawa grumbled.

Hawks and Dabi seemed to have some kind of relationship that he didn't want to acknowledge or think about. Ever.

Jesus, What did he call him?

Aizawa scowled at where his brain was going-

"Why the sudden scowl?" Hizashi asked curiously . Aizawa startled slightly, he didn't notice that they were already parked in front of the station.

It will be a long tiring day, more than usual at least. Aizawa thinks, looking at the small bruised kids.

"Nothing," Aizawa replied in a gruff voice, then he looked at the two in the back. "Carry Dabi and I will carry Hawks," he didn't want Hawks to wake up and find himself in Hizashi's arms - the kid seemed to trust Aizawa only and he was going to use that in his advantage in any way possible if it will help to make this day any less stressful.

As Aizawa lifted Hawks, he could see the bruises and cuts more clearly now, the light made it very easier to detect any injuries -there were old faded ones and new very recent ones, it made him stop in his tracks for a moment in shock, the small body in his arms looked painful to look at. And Dabi was worse, Hizashi looked so startled holding the boy- he looked fried, raw burns all over his arms and legs. Hizashi looked at Aizawa for any clues but he himself was shocked too. From what Aizawa concluded, it was as if kid Dabi and Hawks had travelled in time with the same injuries they had endured- even their clothes fit them.
