Trigger warning ⚠️: Self- Harm, panic attack

Aizawa felt like he was in a daze as the days passed very quickly until it was Friday. There were changes he noticed happening to Touya and Keigo's personality. — both of them had become quiet, not like to do anything in fear of being punished, especially in Keigo's case (the kid thought that someone will punish him because he opened the t.v. without their permission — it took Shinsou a lot of time to convince him that it was okay and he could watch T.V. at any time he wanted.) While Touya, Aizawa suspected that the kid had a rebellious trait in him that began to appear, but he was still afraid of doing anything and his eating disorder had come back stronger than before, Touya could spend the day with only eating a small portion of food, Aizawa was worried, Touya was getting thinner as he grew up – both of the kids have a malnourished body, but at least Keigo was trying to eat, Touya wasn't trying at all.

Oh, and the flinching at every sudden movement, it had increased to the extent that the teachers and students must watch their moves around them— the panic attacks were not fun at all.

Apologizing, cowering in fear, the promises of being good and doing better had increased in the past week and whenever Aizawa heard their pleadings, he felt like his heart was wrenched violently from its place. It hurt — it hurt seeing them like that, the beginning of what changed them. Aizawa really dreaded the final straw that finally made them who they were, he knew it was going to be painful to watch. The unrealistic part of him wished that they will not suffer anymore, but he knew that was not gonna happen with Touya burned alive (it was a tragic incident for the Todoroki family.) and how he was living before appearing as Dabi – and Keigo, they didn't know anything about his past, the fucking hero commission had vanished every evidence regarding their abuse.

Who had thought that heroes will be the ones who committed child abuse? — certainly not Aizawa nor anyone at U.A.

On top of that, there were a lot of meetings with Rabbit hero about how they were going to expose the commission and knowing if Hawks was really working with the league or not. It was bothering Aizawa that the league had been lying low, not doing anything about the disappearance of one of their members (Shigaraki Tomura's second hand). He suspected that the league would go out searching and destroying everything in their path to know Dabi's location— but they did nothing, so it was another problem for Aizawa to think about.

"Leave the league's problem, for now, Aizawa," Aizawa scoffed at Nedzu when the principal said that. The latter has a stupid idea that if they gained Dabi's trust and he became on their side, the league would follow suit— absurd idea, right? They weren't even sure if Dabi would agree on joining the hero side.

He is going to rot in Tartarus, if he didn't — the thought sprung to Aizawa's mind and he vanished it immediately, no, he wouldn't think about it.

Aizawa tried to cheer the kids up, but of course, it was to no avail. So, Midoriya suggested that they could attend classes with them as a change of scenery and it could make them busy to not think about anything else — only studying and doing homework will be on their mind. Thankfully, Nedzu agreed on this and he informed Aizawa that he will alert the other teachers — Hizashi was ecstatic about teaching.

"What novels do you think they will like, Shouta? The secret garden? Beauty and the beast? The three musketeers?" Hizashi said excitedly, already thinking about purchasing the kids' versions of these novels. "Tell me, Shouta, pleasee!" He yelled and Aizawa thought his eardrums would explode.

"I don't know, Hizashi. Just something light and something children enjoy." Aizawa sighed

"Ever helpful, Shouta, like Oboro had said." A small sad smile appeared on Hizashi's face— God, they missed their best friend.
