The aftermath of the war had left deep scars on the heart of Japan. Cities were destroyed. Villains were still out of prison even when All For One was defeated, everyone knew they were hiding until the right moment to strike. People lost faith in heroes because of the corruption in the hero society. Years of corruption and secrets had finally been exposed, leaving the people of Japan feeling betrayed and disillusioned. However, amidst the chaos and despair, there was a glimmer of hope. Toshinori Yagi, known as All-Might, stepped up to take on the role of president of the Reformed Hero Commission. It gave people hope that their All-Might was back.

Aizawa knew that they were in the right direction to correct any wrongdoings happening in the country. Justice would prevail, no one would be silenced again and the idea of worshipping the heroes started to fade as people realized that not all heroes were good, they were only villains in disguise. Corruption never lasts in any country, it is always exposed at the end.

The trials of the corrupt members of the Public Hero Commission were highly publicized and the entire nation watched as they faced the consequences of their actions. The members were found guilty of numerous crimes, including allying with All For One and his doctor, and were sentenced to decades in prison.

As for Aizawa, the underground hero had worked non-stop to correct the wrongdoings in the country since he was discharged from the hospital.

It was like building the country from scratch.

And even with the rest he got, his whole body was still aching and he was still getting used to his prosthetic leg. The dark circles under his eyes were more prominent than before - they seemed to stretch from one corner of his eyes to the other, almost as if they were trying to swallow him. But he knew there was no time to rest, not until everything was better.

A trial after trial that required Aizawa's presence - for villains or heroes too. But his first priorities were the trials of the League of Villains, who had become prominent members of the society and people demanded their release without facing any consequences for what they had done because of the vigilante acts they were doing and then siding with the heroes against All For One.

Aizawa made sure to be present at their trials to provide evidence of their allying with the heroes. It was a miracle that the League of Villains had only their quirks suppressed and were put on probation, with U.A. - especially Aizawa- assigned to monitor them. They were to stay at U.A. and were escorted by a hero at all times. Nedzu was thrilled about the rehabilitation program and he went on and on, wanting to expand it so other villains or criminals could join.

As for Keigo, he refused to take the number one hero place instead of Endeavor after the latter's hero licence was revoked by a court order and his reputation was ruined after his family testified against him (it was a long trial and Aizawa wasn't happy about the outcome but as long as he was kept away from the Todoroki's family and especially Shoto by a court restraining order, it was better than nothing.) So, Best Jeanist became the number one hero and Keigo stayed the number two hero, but Aizawa banned him from working the same ridiculous hours as before.

"You are now free, Keigo." Aizawa had said that he would make sure that Keigo would always be free.

But it still baffled Aizawa that with one single encounter, the whole country had changed. Who could have thought that saving Keigo and Touya would lead to this?
