Author's POV

Sehun was glancing at the clock on the wall. He had been doing the same thing for the recent times now.

He even looked at his cell phone to see if he might receive any phone calls or messages. But there was none.

It had passed 12 midnight and the owner of this house didn't seem to be back. His shadow was nowhere to be seen.

Sehun already texted Chanyeol to ask but the latter said the schedule ended early today and he had no idea where the guy was.

"Where the hell is he?," he muttered in anger.

It was not like he was worried or anything. It just that, it had passed his bedtime and he would not want to get out from his bed just to open the door.

At least, that was what he kept on telling himself.

"I swear to god if he didn't show up in five more minutes, I will just go to sleep," he talked to himself.

It was the tenth time he had been telling himself that. But he still didn't move.

A sigh escaped his lips. To be honest, he was really sleepy right now but he could not bring himself to sleep.

Thirty minutes passed and there was still no sign of Kai.

Sehun stood up from the sofa in frustration. He already waited enough so it was not his problem at all now.

"Who cares about him? At least it is not my fault anymore," he huffed and marched back to his room.

As he was going to close the door, the bell rang stopped him.

"Seriously?," he yelled in frustration. He decided to just go to sleep, knowing that Kai probably had a key with him.

But the repeatedly ringing bell sounded across the house. He grunted in frustration and stomped his way to the front door.

He grunted, swinging the door opened to see the supposed owner of the house.

"Why are you back so late?," he snapped. "Do you know how much times I wasted just to wait for you—

Sehun's eyebrows furrowed. He eyed the man right in front of him carefully.

Before anything, a strong scent of alcohol reached him.

"Are you drunk?," he asked, sighing in frustration for the recent times.

But the response he got, "Heyyyy, Sehunnie," Kai let out a whine and captured Sehun into his arms.

"What the f —

Sehun was surprised with the sudden movement. "Let me go, you idiot," he forcefully pushed the guy away.

A sigh once again escaped his lips as he dragged along the guy with him towards the sofa.

He slumped his body down. "Seriously, I didn't sign up for this," he grunted.

While Kai was busy rambling in his own language that god knows what he meant, Sehun reluctantly pulled off the shoes from his toes.

He murmured, an annoyed look on his face.

"Why do I have to deal with you?," he asked even when he knew the latter would not answer.

He lifted his head to look at him where there he was, looking troubled and tired.

His hair was ruffled in messiness while his face was puffed.

He looked hot not gonna lie.

Sehun shook his head fervently. Why would he be drooling over a drunken man right here.
