※Chapter Nineteen

Author's POV

Kai slowly and reluctantly opened his eyes when his ear caught the sounds of his alarm. He grunted in his sleep as it was too loud.

Reaching out his arms for his cellphone and quickly turned it off. He glanced at the screen of the phone and slowly got up from the bed.

He looked around to not find Sehun anywhere with his eyes still half-closed, wondering where would he go this early?

His body felt really tired today. How he wished he could still sleep but Chanyeol would be here in any minutes now.

Ah, what a shame.

If not, he could be continuing the thing they did last night-

Wait.

"Oh, shit," at that moment, his half-asleep eyes were wide opened. Did he fall asleep last night?

He remembered things were getting heated up between them and all of sudden everything in his mind went blank. He could not remember anything after that.

Kai, as fast as he ever could, jumped off the bed towards the room door. He peaked out his head trying to find Sehun anywhere but he was not there.

He tried looking for him in his room, but he was not there as well. Looked like he was already up hours ago before him.

"Sehun?," he called out for the latter's name but there was no response.

Damn. He was in so much trouble than he could imagine.

He could not even catch the sight of him anywhere in the house. Sehun would not leave him because of this right?

Stupid. How could he fall asleep?

IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT?!

He admitted his body was too tired last night after all the practices and rehearsals that he needed to go through. But still, sigh.

Just as he was thinking about the things he did, the entrance door opened and Sehun's figure entered the house.

Sehun closed the door behind him without noticing the other presence standing right beside him, looking at him in relieve.

"Kai?," he startled when his eyes suddenly met the other's. 

"What are you doing standing there? You startled me," he shook his head, placing the things he bought on the table.

Kai walked towards him without saying anything and hugged Sehun. He was really scared at the thought of Sehun leaving him like that.

"Kai, what's wrong with you?," Sehun was still in confusion when Kai suddenly wrapped him in his arms.

Kai took a deep breath, placing his head on Sehun's shoulder. "I'm sorry," he only whispered that as response.

Sehun rolled his eyes. "I'm still mad at you for that. How could you leave me like that?," he gently pushed Kai away from him.

He was still annoyed for the thing last night. 

"I was too sleepy, baby. I really didn't mean it," Kai desperately uttered, reaching for Sehun's hands and grasping them gently.

Sehun snorted in annoyance. He was not like completely mad at Kai for that, he understood how tired the latter was. 

Even looking at him this morning, his face was still looking tired. He heard from Chanyeol how hectic the schedule was because of the upcoming performance stage.
