※Chapter Thirteen

Author's POV

"Thank you so much for taking the times to go through this interview, Sehun-ssi. However, you are not the person we are looking for and I deeply apologize for that."

Sehun slammed the door behind him as he stepped into the house, throwing his files nonchalantly and slumped himself on the sofa.

One more rejection he received.

At this point, he started to think of giving up. Thousands of interviews he went through and not once he got any good news from them.

He had thought of getting married to any rich person so that he would not have to think of finding any jobs. 

Maybe it was a good thing Yeri dumped him after all.

A scoff escaped his lips, ruffling his hair in frustration. "You are nothing but a burden to people, Oh Sehun," he snickered.

He leaned his head against the sofa head, staring blankly at the ceiling above him. Thinking about his own life.

Having a job was the only way he could move out from here. He wanted to get away from Kai as far as possible. 

Before he would develop any forbidden feelings towards him. 

He was in a relationship too before and he was not too stupid to acknowledge what kind of thing started to happen within him. He knew it too well.

"What am I supposed to do now?," he asked to himself.

He looked around, knowing that Kai was not back yet. 

This past week, he had do everything he should have done way before. Setting a boundary between both of them.

He knew for sure that Kai noticed that and he looked pissed off every time. Wouldn't he supposed to be glad?

After all they were not close friends to begin with, they were purely a boss and a worker so there were not supposed to be a problem about it.

Was it?

Remembering about that, it had been near two days since he saw Kai the last time. The latter hasn't been home since that.

He didn't text nor call but Chanyeol did tell him that Kai was just busy with his packed schedules and that everything was fine.

Huh, what would he expect? He was no one. 

Kai was a celebrity, anyone would feel attracted towards him. That was the thing Sehun kept on reminding himself so that he would not feel more than that.

Although he knew deep down that he started to feel something. But before it was too late, it was better to put a stop on it.

At this point it was no use to keep on denying his own feelings. It was there and he knew it for sure. 

But having a feelings towards someone with a boyfriend? He would never do such things.

Sehun took a deep sigh to calm himself down, he reached out for his cellphone from his pants pocket. Sliding the screen open.

Maybe scrolling through his socials would at least make him relax for a little bit. He had been through a lot just today.

His finger was scrolling down the screen until it stopped right on the post that he wished he had never seen. 

A post where his ex-girlfriend was, looking happy with her new boyfriend. 

Sehun scoffed, feeling pathetic of himself. If you asked him whether he was sad or hurt, he would say he feel nothing at all.
