※Chapter Sixteen

Author's POV

"How stupid can you be? I like you, idiot."

Sehun was speechless to even say any words at the moment. He felt his whole body froze at the place he was standing.

He could not believe his own ears. Was he dreaming?

If he was, he would never want to wake up from this dream.

His eyes shifted towards Kai, who was looking at him as well. Waiting for his response to the words he just said.

"W-What?," Sehun stuttered.

Kai sighed deeply while flashing him a smile. The sweetest smile he ever saw from him before.

"I like you, Oh Sehun. I want to be with you, I want to make you smile and laugh, I want to be the one you rely on," he announced all those.

Sehun was still in disbelief. 

He was happy, delightful, excited, name it. But the thoughts of Baekhyun suddenly hit him which made him push Kai away.

"Stop playing with me," he scowled, snapped at him in anger.

Did Kai think he was someone that he could fool around? His feelings was a toy he could toss around?

"Do you think I'm someone you can fool?," Sehun claimed, glaring over at Kai.

Kai was the one being confused right now, "What do you mean I'm playing? I'm serious, Sehun," he explained.

Sehun clinched his teeth in anger, he felt hurt. He had no idea Kai was thinking so lowly at him.

"Doesn't mean you are a celebrity you can do whatever you want. You can have anyone you want and then toss them around like your playthings," he exclaimed in anger.

There was no way someone like Kai would have a feelings for someone like him. 

Kai's jaw clenched hard. How could Sehun be thinking that way towards him. 

He walked forward and slammed his hand on the door behind Sehun hard, startling Sehun at his place. 

"Yes, I am a celebrity and you might think that I will do whatever I desire. But I am not someone like that, I would never do that," he firmly stated.

Sehun could see the earnestness inside those eyes but he was still in doubt. 

"Then could you explain why are you doing this, telling me you like me when your boyfriend is right downstairs," he demanded, looking straight into his eyes.

The anger inside Kai's eyes began to waver when he heard the words Sehun just uttered. He frowned.

"Boyfriend? What are you talking about?," he asked.

Sehun scoffed, crossing his arms on his chest. 

He thought that Kai was just acting this time, pretended to not understand what he was talking about.

When in reality, the latter was really confused.

"Then what about Baekhyun?," Sehun asked.

Kai finally understood the whole situation right now. Why Sehun was suddenly acting that way, and the reason Baekhyun acted that way too.

It all finally made sense now.

"Sehun, Baekhyun is not my boyfriend," he uttered, his gaze softened at Sehun.
