※Chapter Seventeen

Author's POV

Sehun grunted in his sleep when his ears caught the sounds of non-stop alarm. He groaned in annoyance as he reached for his cellphone.

As his hand tried to reach for the usual spot he placed his phone, it landed and touched a weird surface. His eyebrows snapped as he forced his eyes to open and someone's face was right in front of him.

"What the-

He exclaimed as he jumped out from the bed. His eyes were both opened, widely awake at the moment. 

Kai's figure was sleeping soundly beside him. He wasn't even disturbed by the sounds of the alarms or Sehun's action.

He was still sleeping, not even moving an inch from the bed.

Sehun was looking so surprised with that, he started to question himself why he ended up on the same bed as Kai. "Oh, wait," he finally realized.

He sighed deeply in relieve. How could he forget about what happened the day before. 

Thankfully he had already came to his sense or he almost punched Kai in his sleep if he didn't remember what happened to them yesterday.

"How stupid can you be? I like you, idiot."

The particular words from Kai suddenly entered his mind and his face reddened at the sudden memory. He snorted as his lips started to curl up a wide smile.

He shook his head in disbelief and slowly sat back down on the bed, facing towards Kai who was still sleeping. 

Was this possibly a dream?

If this was really a dream, he would never want to wake up if he could. He wished to stay like this forever.

Were they really together now?

Sehun studied the expressions on Kai's face and his eyes widened that he just noticed, Kai was actually shirtless in the blanket.

He, as fast as lightning, looked over his own body and he felt relieve to know that he was still in his fully clothes.

Nothing happened last night he guessed. 

As he was in his deep thoughts, his cellphone started to ring again. But this time it was a call from someone.

He reached for the phone but realized it was not actually his phone. It was Kai's.

Sehun looked over to Kai again and seemed like the latter was still in his dreamland that he didn't look like he would be awake anytime sooner.

His finger lingered right on the screen, hesitant whether he should be picking up the call or just let it be until Kai woke up by himself.

But seeing how tired Kai looked in his sleep, he finally decided to answer the call.

"Hel-

"KIM JONGIN! ARE YOU AWAKE?!"

Sehun automatically put the phone away from his ear when loud voice of Chanyeol was heard across the phone call.

It was his first time hearing Chanyeol shouting like this and it kinds surprised him. "Erm, Chanyeol Hyung-

"WHY ARE YOU SUDDENLY BEING POLITE WITH ME?! DON'T TELL ME YOU ARE STILL NOT READY," Chanyeol shouted again this time, cutting Sehun off.

Sehun once again pulled the phone away from him.

"Wait, why are your voice different?," he heard Chanyeol again.
