Reality in Nuances

Surroundings that I have grown to,
Are suddenly all the more new.
Nuances; as big as doom,
Echo negligence as time races on.

Nuances; we now yearn,
As we are swept by the dark tide.
The breeze that remained in shadows,
Is now the source of reassurance.
The changing weather; a silent process,
Is now a sight to behold.
The chirping of birds; falling on deaf ears,
Is now the source of liveliness.
The falling of dry leaves; a blind corner,
Is the metaphor of life.

These memories weave a tale,
One which is to be passed,
Till time completes its existence,
And returns tired, yet accomplished at the same "time".

Note:
This is just one of those thoughts that swing back and forth in my mind , brought to light post the pandemic; where we have to come to value everything, freedom, life, happiness. It has helped us define life, to the way we used to be without any definition. As odd as it sounds, we have understood that it is indeed a privilege to live and face any challenge that mounts on us, thinking of how we would mature and feel on the day we overcome our so called challenges. Challenge in itself is human defined and not everything that is defined specifically caters to it, and that brings to giving room to various perspectives so that we do not regret anything. Stay myopic with respect to life and take joy in the small things. Let us continue taking the second chance to be "Human". Thank you.
