Have we still got time?
I wonder, as I gaze,
Far into the celestial darkness,
An unsettling feeling, swallows whole,
Amplified under the moon's gentle presence.Have we got enough time in the clock?
For I hardly have lived,
As nothing but thoughts oscillate,
Only for me to decipher,
I hardly have withered.Flashes! Flashes of hedonic impact,
Biases of varied nature,
Infiltrate, and time slows down,
Paralysed , I stand in search of meaning.Visions of its own, does the mind have;
Materialise. At what cost?
The price of a single tear!
What am I to know,
If my mind's my nemesis.Seeming to answer,
The early sun traverses the mist,
Jolting me back to reality.
The mist clears, yet my mind hasn't;
A lifetime is all I ask to understand,
Have we still got time?
