present time"ARE YOU CRAZY?" Fallon asked rhetorically. Quinn had just informed her that she would be going on a run with some of the others. She didn't mean to keep it a secret, but she knew how Fal got when danger was directly in front of her and she did nothing to avoid it.
"No, I'm not. Deanna said if we were good at something, we could help. I'm good at this." Quinn told her. "You're good with kids, you could work with that lady in the garage. Hell, you could even go on runs with us, but someone need to watch Achilles."
"I would like to go outside again." Fallon mumbled. "Fine, you can go today, but next time I'd like to go." She compromised easily. Fights were never common between them, and if there were any they would quickly be remedied.
"The deals the deal." Quinn held her hand out for Fallon to shake. With a look that said many words, a curt nod passed between them.
"What's this run for anyway?" Fallon changed the subject, taking a seat in the sofa next to her makeshift sister.
"No clue, some science guy needs something." Quinn shrugged. "I heard they needed experienced people so I volunteered."
"Okay, you better come back alive. Unfortunately, I'll miss you." Fallon told her with a serious look. Quinn snorted.
"Don't laugh at my emotions!" Fallon swatted at the girls shoulder, struggling to hold back a laugh of her own.
"No, no. I would never." Quinn raised her hands in surrender, her cheeks growing red from her held breath.
"I saw you talking to the neighbor boy last night. What's going on with that?" Fallon wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.
"Oh please, absolutely nothing. I don't even know him." Quinn stood with an eye roll.
"So I heard." Fallon audibly rolled her eyes. "What did you even talk about? You were with him all night after all."
"Ha, ha." Quinn said sarcastically. "Wait, how would you even know? You ran off, you gay asshole." She reminded the Blake girl.
"Oh you know," Fallon sighed. "It's hard work being so joyful all the time."
"You aren't funny, I hope you know that." Quinn called behind her as she jumped up the stairs.
