The next day at school, we saw the girl that we saved. Then we started the bet. She got classes with Dutch and Johnny at first. I didn't have a chance to make her fall in love with me but she sat with us at lunch.

For my first two classes, I just had math and social studies. Me Jimmy, and Dutch we're on our way to the cafeteria then we see Johnny and the girl we saved from last night.

We walk to the table that we usually sit at. Bobby gets up from the table and starts walking towards the girl. I think that I'll never have a chance but I remember next week she most likely to be in my class. I open my lunch. Always the same thing. A sandwich, an apple, and water. I look over at Johnny and he's smirking while looking over at Bobby and the girl.

"Lemme guess. You just had a class with her." I scoffed and told him. He nodded his head, looking proud of himself. I look closer at them. They're having fun with each other talking.

"I don't think she likes any of us. She seems to only like pretty boy over there." I tell Johnny as I motioned to Bobby. He rolled his eyes and acted like he was better than me.

"Yeah right. You're just jealous I had a class with her." He scoffed.

"Shut up Johnny." I rolled my eyes.

"Her name is Lagi by the way. In case you didn't know that." Johnny said bragging to me.

They finally come to the table.

"How are you two little lovebirds doing?" Dutch said as if he doesn't care about the bet anymore and was only focused on them.

"Hi Dutch." Lagi says annoyed but laughing at the same time.

"Hey, man. I thought you usually don't get school lunch." Jimmy says. He sounds like he's been holding in his thoughts all day.

"Um yeah. I'm just flipping the script. Trying different things." Bobby replied. He was definitely lying. As soon as he saw Lagi getting school lunch, he stood right up. Plus, he didn't have his lunch out like he wasn't sure if she gets lunch from home or from school.

"So, what do you guys usually do for fun here?" Lagi asked. I think about Cobra Kai thinking she might be impressed.

"We take karate classes after school." I say with pride,

"It's called Cobra Kai. You can come with us after school. If it's fine with your parents or whatever." Johnny says. I wanted to explain or talk about it more but it seemed that Johnny already did that for me. I started to feel the bet is kind of tearing us apart. Maybe we should've stopped it. Even though I didn't even have one chance, we should've called it off anyway. They seemed kind of meant for each other anyway.

"Sure I'd love to come! Do you think I could join? Would they allow girls?"

We all looked at each other.

"I'm pretty sure." Dutch said. Then before I could even finish my lunch, the bell rings and we have to go to home room.

"Who's your home room teacher?" Asked Jimmy. "Mr Barnes I think." Lagi responded.

"Oh, we're all in the same home room." I say.

We all walk to room 107.
