We continued our journey inside the dungeon, we encountered a lot of Ogres nothing we can’t handle; but suddenly Kitaro stumbles upon a large 7 feet tall stone with glowing letters. A quest window appeared in front of Kitaro.
“What does it say?” Kyle asks Kitaro.
“The quest is about extermination.” replied Kitaro.
“WHAT! So what monsters are we going to destroy?” I ask Kitaro
“We have to exterminate ten Bugbears” replied Kitaro
“WHAT! The hell is a Bugbear?” Kyle commented.
“Guess we have to find out.” I replied full of enthusiasm. We accepted the quest given.
After walking for almost an hour and a half (of course we were annihilating every monster we encounter) we found three Bugbears roaring at each other like a group of idiots. So we did what we do best, we fought them using our weapons and sword skills.
“GUYS GET READY.” Kyle shouted “I’ll attract there attention then Kitaro and SF try finishing them one by one.” Kyle continued.
Kyle sprinted at the three monsters and used his most powerful sword skill, Sonic Leap. It is a dash type attack that has a one hit slash that causes a critical strike.
The Bugbear is a muscular, savage humanoid type monster stands 7 feet tall. With a coarse hair that covers most of its body. Its mouth is full of long, sharp fangs, and its nose is much like that of a bear. It’s wearing tattered leather armour with wooden shield and a large mace.
Kyle manages to hit the Bugbear in the middle and attracted its attention but the two other Bugbears did not follow him but instead they charge straight at us.
In a split second Syler blocks the left Bugbear and stops it in its tracks, while the other Bugbear in the right continued its charge at us.
Out of nowhere Kitaro shouted “VERTICAL SQUARE!” and he activate his sword skill which nearly killed the enemy.
Vertical Square is an attack that hits the enemy four times and creates a square like effect.
After Kitaro finish his attack I activated my own sword skill White Blaze and it instantaneously destroyed the Bugbear.
The Bugbear that was following Kyle suddenly stop and begun to howl like a wolf separated from the pack “AWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
A pack of Bugbears started to appear, surrounding us. "We're surrounded" cried Kyle.
BOOM! A loud explosive blow could be heard; I turn around and saw that Syler was blown away. The Bugbear he was fighting just used a sword skill called Crushing Blow.
Crushing Blow is a sword skill that can be used by mace and hammer type weapons. It allows the user to knock back the enemy for 2 meters away.
Without a second thought I ran to the Bugbear that used a sword skill, and activated my own sword skill. Sonic Leap to dash towards the enemy and slash it with an arch from the left shoulder downward reaching the right side of the belly.
The Sonic Leap is a dash type sword skill, it allows the user to lunge towards the enemy and deliver a devastating single hit slash.
“SWITCH!” roared Kitaro and he then activated a sword skill called Upheaval that slashes the enemy two times. The enemy exploded into millions of light particles.
Upheaval is a delayed attack using a sword that slashes the enemy two times. The 1st slash is to disorient the enemy and the 2nd slash is to launch the enemy into the air.
