BEEP! The sound of activated computer can be heard. A young man is browsing in his computer.
“Dammit! This can’t be happening? How could the Doctor do such a thing?” says by the young man sitting in his office. In front of him is his computer, with an I7 octa core processor and a 24 inch monitor.
A couple of programs are running, showing him information about the Full Dive technology. A transparent glass door slowly opened and a person came inside with sinister expression, his name is Kentaro Yamada.
Kentaro Yamada is wearing a light brown shirt underneath his white lab coat.
“Yamada, when did you found out about this?” says Rai while anger in his face. “This kind of sensitive information should be distributed to the public! Before it’s too late” Rai continued.
Yamada slowly close the glass door and steadily walk closer to Rai saying “I can’t do such a thing?”
“WHAT! But why?” Rai exclaimed “Are you in league with the doctor? You son of a…” continued Rai but Yamada immediately cut him off
“HE HAS MY FAMILY!” Yamada cried before Rai could finish. “He’ll know my involvement if something happens to the official launch of Sword Art tomorrow.” Yamada continued.
“WHAT?” Rai yells unconsciously while displaying a surprised look. “But what are we going to do about the official launch of Sword Art Online?” continued Rai.
Yamada stops walking in front of Rai and says “I can’t do anything to interfere, but you can.”
“What do you mean?” Rai replied while showing a confused look. Suddenly the transparent glass door opened and another person came inside. A beautiful lady, she wore a black short skirt matched with another black blouse. Wearing light make up with green eyes and a long black hair. Her name is Kotegawa Yui.
She walks in an elegant way towards Yamada and handed him a compiled paper documents. “Dr. Yamada, here are the documents you are requesting.” Yui said.
Yamada look at Yui and smiles “Thank you, Yui” replied Yamada.
“Sir, if I may. What do you need the documents regarding the old prototype Nerve Gear?” continued Yui.
“I’m just making final checks for the official launch of Sword Art Online tomorrow, and I have to give a report to Dr. Kayaba Akihiko” replied Yamada.
Yui replied and says “Oh, okay.” She turns around and walks out of the office.
“I don’t trust her.” Yamada exclaim.
“What’s wrong with Yui?” ask Rai.
“Nothing, let’s get back to topic” says Yamada “I want you to join with the official launch of Sword Art Online tomorrow” Yamada continued.
Rai immediately stand up, showing rage in his expression. “WHAT! Are you out of your mind?” Rai replied “Besides why should I do such a thing?” Rai continued.
Yamada’s whole body trembled from hearing Rai’s response. “Are you going to abandon all of those people, those 10,000 people inside the GAME?” Yamada’s teeth gritted in anger, he pointed his index finger towards Rai and says “This is our responsibility! We help made the Full Dive technology.”
Yamada tried to explain, but Rai became irritated and hammered his fist on the desk and roared. “ENOUGH!”
“I will help in taking down the program but I will never sacrifice myself in the process!” Rai yelled with authority.
Yamada’s eyes widened, showing his disbelief. “I see, so you’re not the person I’ve been looking for” said Yamada. He then turn around and walk away.
When Yamada reach the transparent glass door, he looks at Rai again and said “Remember Rai we are also responsible for the incident that will befall tomorrow.” He then walks out of the office.
Rai immediately sits down and released a long sigh. “I’m really sorry Yamada but I cannot leave my little brother alone. I just can’t” Rai told himself then he suddenly remembered that he still hasn’t warned his little brother of the upcoming incident.
Rai instantly reach for his phone across the table and dialled the number of his little brother.
A couple of minutes later there’s still no answer. “Dammit, that brother of mine!” Rai exclaimed. Then he wrote a text message telling his little brother not to log-in to Sword Art Online tomorrow.
Rai opened a drawer from the desk and took out a shoulder bag revealing a portable tablet inside. He turns it on and continues reading the data, finding counter measures for tomorrow’s unethical event.
